I heard Aureth Greyhope had been writing about the horrors of war.

I fought with the man in the last siege, and as my clan and his are among the bigger common families in Arx, it made sense that we would bring our people to fight and stand with us.

Aureth brought a blessing from the Queen of Endings and Mother of Beginnings.

It was a terrible horde of the dead. Risen from their rest to fight with us and defend the common folk. When the enemy was broken what the dead did next was even more horrific.

There are times when horrible things must be done. In that case they were done with the blessing and assistance of at least one of our gods.

We enjoy the lives we enjoy thanks to such acts of horror when they are needed, but it is fair to say we must be careful with them. I dont look forward to another horde of dead fighting in the Lowers, but I hope if they do, they do it on our side again.

I know we are all supposed to be claiming flowers for ourselves but I cannot even focus on such things right now because I just bought a hat and it is SO fabulous. It makes me want to put it on, pull it down at a sassy angle and conquer all obstacles before me.
