As a priest, and a godsworn to the whole Pantheon, I definitely prefer harmless floral comparisons to people acting like nasty assholes to each other for no reason.

I don't know what kind of flower I am, though. Something with silky golden petals.

Princess Gwenna hosted a dinner yesterday. It was quite enjoyable, we chatted, met new people, hand a few laughs and a few debates. The food was wonderful and the drinks plentiful. Loud, hard to hear people though, but that is normal for a Northern dinner. Could have used more bear wrestling though. I enjoyed it though and would happily go again.

As a priest and prelate of Vellichor, I find that it isn't ridiculous or a waste of resources being used on the recent journals talking about comparing flowers and persons. Vellichor is the god of history, old words written on new papers that often struggle to show the prismatic variations of the souls. You are living beings, souls that are here for only a brief moment.

Rejoice you have the opportunity to share your thoughts, and may those in the future look back at these and see that you were unique and beautifully flawed but living beings.

Mistress Joscelin is aver well practiced with flattery. Crocus are beautiful little flowers-- your prose however is delightful. I would say there was colour in my cheeks for reading it, but for being such a hapless blusher at the best of times that rather goes without saying.

And I do so love purple.

Relationship Note on Brogan

Fighting a Northman can sometimes feel like being kicked by a horse, and as one who has done both... the horse might just hurt less. I knew it wouldn't be an easy fight, but I'll give him credit, I think I did more damage to my knuckles than I did to his skin. Next time, it'll be blades... and we'll see who wins that round.

That said... he's easy on the eyes, about as smooth as seasilk with his words, and drinks like a fish. He certainly wouldn't be out of place among the Hundred, in my opinion. I look forward to the next round.

Relationship Note on Aleksei

A sword lily, though it goes by many other names, is my choice of flower to best suit Aleksei -- since this seems to be the topic of the moment. The zinnias while beautiful and speak of summer were nice but still pale, I think, in comparison. Both are summer flowers, both have beautiful blooms but the sword lily, come the warm, stretch for the sun with an unmatched vibrancy. They bespeak all things sunny, charmed, and have never once failed to make me smile on seeing them.

That and by virtue of it's name, lends to his skill with a sword.
