I posted this to the classified, but not everyone reads that, so I'm bringing it here.
What's Best: Triangles or Squares?
I've recently been in a heated argument with a friend of mine over the best way to fold rags, which are often used in cleaning several of our artifacts in the Explorer's museum. I'm team square. They are team triangle. What team are you on? Why? Why should I change my mind?

Did a trip with Elora to her family estate and we are will processing the findings. Since it is a private thing, I will write more once we have finished the reviewing and reflecting. Still no decision on a ship but the day will come. Meanwhile, looking into armor and continuing to learn about animal training. Family doing well here and hopefully soon we will travel North for a visit.

I am very proud of my cousin, Keely. The person she has blossomed into. And no, I am not saying this just because she produces the most magnificent muffins every, as if out of thin air. She really is one of the best people I know and I think the world should know that too.

I have not been in a good place. I rarely go out. I only do what is necessary. I feel relationships eroding over time. Darkness has crept into my heart. Not just because of Bastion. There have been other things too, more recently. I've been a danger on exploration expeditions; this cuts deepest.
I try to keep the words of the Queen close to my heart, but it does not always work. I feel as though I've been failing at everything lately. Even the investigation into the item that the Traitor took is taking longer than expected and that is a thing of need and necessity, not of want like a majority of my research.
Still, I try to maintain hope, even if I feel it fleeting.
I need to go somewhere, explore someplace, that's wholly my own to explore. To see wonder and light again, to banish away some of this darkness that has taken hold. Yet, nothing immediately comes to mind that might spark such things for me again.

Esteemed Crafter Vashtalyn has been my protege for some months now, and with her skilled hands she has created a garment that feels ornate, breath-taking, decadent but not too heavy. It is somewhat like home and yet not, a combination of the best of the Eurus and that of the Arvani. I'm not really the easiest guy to be in a marriage with. I tend to cause more issue than clean them up. I tend to not care when I should. I tend to find it amusing to try my new potions (totally not poisons) on people unsuspectingly. I even tend to offend people you are trying to make friends with.
I did remember your birthday without prompting. Pretty sure I remembered our anniversary too. I'm still alive, so that's another year to my credit. Living on borrowed time, Poison. One of the above-mentioned actions is definitely going to get you to order me quartered or something. Until then though ---

Relationship Note on Katya
A generous gift from Lady Katya for my Hart's public library and my own. Two fine copies of a new book aptly named, "Knotwork: A Guide" by the Lady Katya of Grimhall herself. A much spoken about and useful tome, I am sure.
I have to admit I truly enjoy seeing another beautiful, newly bound book upon my Hart's shelves. I cannot wait to see whose interest it attracts, especially with the upcoming contest.
Thank you again, dearest lady. I look forward to seeing many more books from you in future. It is wonderful to see another wonderful author blossom in the Arvani arts scene.

I got to go to the story time hosted in Lover's Park. I didn't really associate with anyone, but I did take away some interesting information from it. My only regret is that I had not been at previous story times. It really made me think about the differences between love and betrayal.

Well shot someone next to who i was supposed to shoot and while i thought i was getting good at archery i suppose i still have much to learn. it was hilarious though i did shoot them on the ass. A First time for everything
