I was pleased to hear that Princess Marian took home the title of Champion of the Gauntlet this year. Though I am sad I managed to miss the event itself.

I am to travel to Southport once again and my sweet sister has decided to accompany to help support me and relieve my stress. It is good to be reunited with her again. We were thick as thieves at one point and it is good to see we've been able to fall right back into that with the added experience of a few years spent mostly apart.

It was good to stretch my legs -- well, stretch everything -- at the Gauntlet today. I walk away from it humbled, and with the knowledge that it is time to ease up from Marie's good cooking around Keaton Hall and rise earlier so that I can begin the day with exercise. To all of those that competed, you have my utmost respect.
