Relationship Note on Peri
Peri is special.
I have known this since we first met, and she was still a child on my very first progression through the March when I was fifteen years old. I know something of her heart; and how much she wants to look beyond what she knows, while still carrying a deep loyalty to her family. Her sense of honor is impeccable. I think there is great spiritual strength in her, it just needs an opportunity to come out.
Now, she is leading our small fleet into battle at Setarco. I can think of no braver hands than hers to guide our sails.

The cadet branch Deepwoods have been a lovely addition to my family. Thus far, the one I know best has come to be Lady - no, Cousin Emily. She has made herself essential to both myself and to Rymarr, and holds the interests of our House within her heart. I've spent more than one evening thus far enjoying her company and hope to enjoy many more.
She is traveling to the north to lead Deepwood's forces in defense of Stormwall, and is being mentioned frequently in my prayers. But more importantly, I will support her with my actions as her forces fly the banner of three trees.

I imagine when one loses an appendage, however large or small, you feel the loss of it for a very long time, but after a while the lack becomes normal, and something you're used to, and possibly no longer notice. But if by magic that lost appendage is restored, you must wonder how you ever got along without it.

Too many people are writing wills. I can understand it to be upsetting for people, so I thought I would share my own even though the only thing I am in danger of dying from is boredom or lack of breath when talking too much:
I leave my pink dress to my sister Reese on the condition that she pass them down to her daughter someday because she ought to have one that carries on her dimples and lovely soul.
I leave that one backpack I own to my sister Lou who probably gave it to me anyway and would use it more than I do. Not that I don't love it, I do! It has ribbons in it right now, I suppose Lou can fight Reese for them.
My love of the arts I leave to my darling niece who should come to love the theater as much as I do.
I leave my cheerful disposition to my cousin Gareth who will know how to make use of it.
My books ought to go to Leary House for there is someone there that will treasure them, even if most are about Princesses in peril.
Valor ought to be given to Michael Bisland so that he may never lose his edge, although he may lose a boot.
The solitary pink slipper I own should go to the Elbow of Kennex so he can have a matching set.
I leave the Black Rose Theater to the people of Arx even though I don't own it and someone will point out I can't give it away.
My laughter I leave to House Grayson so that they might not be so serious all the time.

It's even further into Spring, which means that it is going to likely rain a little bit more, but also be more cool than cold. I am thinking about working on some flower planting for the season.
