The Pravus Ball was lovely and I can't think of better company to have gone with. A gown I'd commissioned from Mistress Saya came some hours after. Not in time to wear to the event but at just the right nostalgic moment to provoke sitting back, admiring the piece at a small distance, and envisioning all the parties to come.

Me: "He's a baby!"
Tiber: "That's stupid. I always said stuff when I was a baby."

I got out of the house for the first time since returning from the battle. Ariel was very patient with me, even though I made us late to Thrax's remembrance for the suffering in the Mourning Isles. We'll have to do as much for what remains of Darkwater as we can, as they have lost so much now.

I find myself at a loss for words to chronicle the last couple of weeks properly. I have taken the time in between training to pray and reflect though I have many things to catch up on. I thank those who have paths I've crossed most recently for their patience and understanding along with the simple pleasure of conversation upon matters of the Faith, family, and other aspects of life.

The role I played for the Redrains in supporting that ill fated city in the north was more needed than I knew. Once the city burned there was all the more need for ready supply lines. Fortunately the supply lines were kept safe, thanks to the valiant men in the service of Valardin. It was humbling to be a part of such a union of multiple houses. I hope to see more such joint efforts, and hope to be able to give my service again.
