I must confess, I am looking forward to this more than I can say. While I am not particularly fond of animals as a rule, a masked ball should be all sorts of fun!

Saoirse

I attended the woodland ball -- in a borrowed mask. I had quite an interesting conversation with another person, of course in a mask. I decided to leave before the unmasking.

I ALSO tried to convince Cadenza to lure the madman Esra to the ball and have him poisoned, but she told me no. Ah, well!

Someone wearing a silken mask of shimmering butterfly wings has joined the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Someone wearing a white silk dove half-mask with a protruding beak and sparkling white stones arrived early. She's already perched herself up in a treehouse to observe those coming in with twitchy head motions. She's alone, at least for the moment and so 'greets' everyone who arrives, when they arrive by giving them an enthusiastic "Chirp!" This is the kind of self-humiliation one can only do with copious amounts of drink, or the relative anonymity of these sorts of events.

The hostess was already there, sitting on the hammock that hung between two trees. The Silver Fox could be seen whispering to someone in a snarling fox mask. There was a soft laugh as she shook her head and sat up straight. That long skirt on that catsuit would cascade over the side as she sat there in it like a swing.

A woman wearing a shimmering butterfly mask that is a riot of colors that is so very, very different from the aeterna and seasilk dress she wears. The mask almost distracts from the sea of diaphanous pearlescent skirts dyed in a rainbow of opaline colors, and the shimmering butterflies that descend from the aeterna bodice down onto the skirts. She pauses a moment at the entrance, one hand touching the silk mask on her face, before she makes her way toward the roses.

Putting on the mask just as he is walking in to conceal himself, the blue swallow masked man looks around, his blue-black eyes studying the masked gathering before him, a wide grin on his lips. It's pretty easy to tell who is wearing this mask if you are fimilar with the knife that he has decided to wear upon his belt. He lets out a laugh to the dove mask wearer at their chirp, giving them a nod of approval before turning his gaze over to the hammock and the two foxes, waving to one of them, likely the hostess.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask makes her way into the menagerie, making sure her mask is appropriately fitted. She's equally dressed in a murder, death, kitten gown. For her part, she's made it, but she looks somewhat uneasy at being in such a crowded spot that's all social.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask has also arrived early, and she does so in a glittering display of opaline-colored silk and mother-of-pearl clam shells. Her hair is done in an intricate up-do of black curls, but otherwise, she is just a clam! The woman moves in a ruffle of shimmering fabric to pluck up a beverage from a passing tray, holding it between her hands as she moves deeper into the room, her eyes wandering this way and that with the different masks to be seen. Beneath the mask, her mouth is turned in a bright, ear-to-ear grin of pleasure at the sight of it all.

Someone wearing a feathery twilight blue and silver butterfly mask walks in, her hands clasped behind her back as she takes in the amount of people present. She moves off to the side, finding a place to quietly sit and observe for now.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep enters with tentacles that stretch from the base of the mask. The red outfit that accompanies suggests the creature is some sort of squid from the deep rising up to snack on whatever woodland critters might become dinner. The figure under the mask is broad shouldered and muscular. He searches around and searching the liquor almost straight off. The way the tentacles hang it is easy to drink in this mask which seems to be the primary goal of the man for the night.

'Wear your favorite animal', the instructions said. So who is this weirdo entering with a mask in the shape of a MOTH? A slender young woman with jet black hair enters the party in a tightly laced gown; she seems very slightly uncomfortable in it, as if it is not QUITE the right fit. When she sees one, or two? or three? butterflies, the Moth gives a funny little look at them, points to her mask, and says very bluntly - so, so dryly, "Moth." Yep. Moth.

Someone wearing stygian soot dog mirrormask walks in, a lean, small canine in black clothing and a deep black cur visage strapped over their face. They pause to take in the crowd.

The illumination by the moon and firelight captures the sparkle of stars adorned to the ensemble of the unicorn masked female. She stands at the entry, eyes widened to capture the wonder of the setting. A soft sound gasp and she smiles a little before striding to one of the many benches. The hem of her gown sweeps across the floor, a gentle swish, when she passes and settles down to the seat. From one of the nearby servers, she takes a glass of wine and sips at it while observing others who arrived.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask likewise heads to the liquor table, and pours herself a glass of something to drink; whiskey likely. She then goes to find a place where she can sit, that's not too crowded.

Someone wearing A brown marten mask slinks in, all drab browns in clothing. There's been little real effort put towards a costume, though the wearer, identifiably a man of average height with neatly combed dark hair, at least seems game for the actual spirit of the thing. He glances towards the dove, shaking his head at her and letting out a dry little laugh. Brown gloves have haphazard claws sketched on them in charcoal. He glances around for someone, rocking back on his heels, and sighs, shaking his head. Apparently the person he's searching for hasn't arrived.

Someone wearing a white silk dove half-mask with a protruding beak and sparkling white stones is eyeing the death kitten the way you might eye a kitten if you were a bird, watching her every murderous motion. She just knows, even as she does her chirping at arrivals that she is maybe just a hair's breath from being pounced and devoured in a fluffy ball of cute mayhem. Luckily she's up in the treehouse and the murder kitten isn't, for now anyway. Not letting that kitten out of her sight, nope nope nope.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask has joined the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask has joined the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask checked charm + performance at difficulty 15, rolling 21 higher.

Someone wearing white dragon mask meanders in, looking quite stunning in her fanciful white dragon costume, the scales glinting bright white in the light. Her smile under the mask is perfectly curled and coy, and she makes her way to get herself a drink. She is careful as she lifts the glass, her gloves metallic and possessing sharp looking claws, before looking for somewhere comfortable to sit.

Someone wearing a silken mask of shimmering butterfly wings settles at a seat underneath the wooden armor, one hand reaching out to touch the petals of a lilac flower. Her gaze shifting to look over the party, her lips curled up slightly.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask heads over to the pine wooden bench where the unicorn mask wearer sits, strolling along in an easy going pace, smiling their way as he comes up behind them and gives them a rather convicing swallow call. He grins at them as he move around thet able to sit across from them.

Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask slips gracefully into the Arboreal Enclosure in a sweep of golden sea silks that caress her sleek diminutive form. A soft, buttery cloak of golden fox's fur has been swept back over her shoulders as it remains clasped about the slender column of her throat. She weaves in and amongst the party goers, one ringed hand lifting to pluck a glass from a waiter as they slip by. Her long raven tresses are left loose to fall behind her, threaded with small beads.

a wooden chest of party favors is now unlocked.

a cedar chest is now unlocked.

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask is still adjusting the fall of fur and silk as she steps into the room, pausing to look over the gathering with the poise of the creature she's chosen to appear as. A tug is given to one of her gloves with a hidden grimace before she prowls further in unhurriedly.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask takes a drink from the liquor she's selected, looking around amidst the sea of strangers, for indeed they are all strangers in masks. She finds another mask standing, not yet having joined a place yet, in the form of the tentacled seamonster dressed in red. She smiles in that creature's direction, bringing up her glass in a silent 'cheers' before moving slowly, deeper into the room, to find a seat. Albiet tentatively.

Someone wearing a snarling brown and gray wolf mask smiled softly to the individual next to him who wore the mask of a silver fox, seemingly chuckling in his wolf-themed outfit. Though he leans to whisper something to them

Someone wearing stygian soot dog mirrormask takes a deep breath. "I love the opportunity to go unseen, but the ebb and flow here, too much for me." The dog deposits suddenly on the pine bench.

Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask has joined the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask looks over at the Moth's arrival, and her grin grows broad again. "Hidden beauty?" The masked woman suggests. "Hardly more than a stone to look at on the outside of the shell, but within?" She steps back, lifting a hand to gesture to the shimmering opaline and mother-of-pearl mask and gown she wears. "And you, my dear? Tell me of the great moth, and perhaps we ought to seek a seat."

The scene was set....the food arranged....the drinks flowing. What looked like a quartet of musicians were sitting off in a corner so as the music would travel throughout the room. This group was dressed as what appeared to be various birds. The servers walking around and tending to the attenders were all dressed as various colors of butterflies with small wings upon their backs so as not to be obtrusive.

Walking into the center of the room was a tall young woman adorned in what was a silver fox costume that hid her identity. Though her face wasn't seen, she was still a sight to behold in the tight, well tailored costume. Her custom perfume seemed to just tickle the nose of those passing, a fresh woodsy scent that seemed to blend in perfectly with the foliage of the Arboreal Enclosure. Though once she spoke, it was apparent she was the hostess of the party. Clearing her throat she would look around, her soft pink lips.

"They have cradled you in custom,
they have primed you with their preaching,
They have soaked you in convention through and through;
They have put you in a showcase; you're a credit to their teaching --
But can't you hear the Wild? -- it's calling you.
Let us probe the silent places, let us seek what luck betide us;
Let us journey to a lonely land I know.
There's a whisper on the night-wind,
there's a star agleam to guide us,
And the Wild is calling, calling. . .let us go."

There was a pause before she would smirk then as she looked around the room. "I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Wild Woodland Creatures masquerade! Thank you for getting into it and dressing up. I'm so glad to see so many creatures and for going out of the box with your animals." A pause. "There's food....there's drinks and of course I will be showcasing my family's wines and cider for you to have. They will be cracked open in front of you and as customary, my beautiful ladies serving you will have first sip." There was a playful wink then as she chuckled. "Please....do not forget your party favor that is showcased in that beautiful 'treasure' chest with all the lighting."

Taking a deep breath to come up for air she would smile. "We will have a costume contest...which you just have to check out your fellow party goers and come find me, the fox, and whisper in my little ear your favorite costume. There will be riddles....and even dancing contest...and maybe a surprise game or two. Now enough of that! Let's enjoy ourselves!"

3 Iron Guardsmen arrives, following Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask.

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask arrives, following Someone wearing a most flamboyant gem-dusted peacock mask.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep finds an empty space with a bowl of viddles. The creature comes to a stop and does not use its hands. Tentacles get shook back and forth like made as it eats right out the bowl directly. In fact it bites onto the bowl and tilts his head back to annhilate the veggie tray. Carrots and the like go flying. It makes crunching, squishing and violent eating noises as it goes. Once done with bits of food over its body like it just committed wholesale murder it looks to the treasure chest. The creature leans deep into the chest and pulls out a party favor with is mouth. It then warbles threateningly and scuttles to some table or another.

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask spots another wolf, and can't help but make her way over in their direction, offering an upnod of her head as she offers drily,"Well, at least I'm not the only one here. Something about packs and all that." the green eyes behind the mask shifting to the silver fox with a crinkling that maybe suggests the wearer is smiling, even if the effect is lost behind the mask.

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings seems to make a face behind the mask. Hopefully it's a smile. "That was far more significant than I expected," she admits, following Clam to wherever she leads. Apparently it's a Ring Tailed Lemur Exhibit. "And as for my own... I like the idea of a piece of clothing, of cloth, in the shape of a moth." There is a beat, to see if Clam gets it. If she doesn't, the moth lady supplies, "Because they destroy cloth."

Someone wearing A mask made of wood in the likeness of itself steps into the Arboreal Enclosure, each step a special effort. They have a lumbering stride.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep has joined the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

Someone wearing A brown marten mask glances around for a moment, as if assessing the layout of the various parties. He then strolls towards the emptiest space, with the shimmering butterfly in the seasilk. "Mind company?" Soemthing about the tone suggests the wearer probably doesn't care if the butterfly does or doesn't. He's there anyway. And his voice drops to talk quietly to the shimmering butterfly.

Someone wearing A brown marten mask has joined the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask circles on around the room, eventually electing to join the menagerie of animals at the pine wooden bench.

Someone wearing A mask made of wood in the likeness of itself eventually lumbers away from the pine wooden bench to go be a large tree-like addition to another group of people's evening.

Making her way back from that hammock she was sitting on like a swing, she'd slip away from the wolf with a slight smile. Clearing her throat she would finally speak up. "I hope you're all enjoying yourselves...but it's time for the first set of prizes to be given out.....three to be exact." A grin would tug at the Fox's lips before she moved to a chest and pulled out....a stuffed animal.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep gets Gildengold Cider from a cedar chest.

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask is a late-comer. Perhaps even having second thoughts of coming. With the two seahorces pulled together, the bearer looks around, reaching to rub at the tip of his beard as he moves to find a place to sit.

A small woman in a fawn mask arrives. She peeks over the gathering, seemingly a bit shy and overwhelmed.

"No....you get the stuffed bunny in my arms...." She'd wink up to them then before chuckle a bit. Foxy seemed to be in a good mood. "Now then....FIRST RIDDLE!"

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep scuttles away from its place and picks up a terrarium. The beast of the deep walks only sideways with feet pointed in completely opposite directions while its knees are bent with legs wide apart. As it scuttles large dramatic clawed hands lift at either side and it hits up the stash of booze. It leans in with its mouth and takes a cider. The snip of a claw twists off the top and it puts the bottle in its mouth under the wash of tentacles. Its head goes straight back and cider falls down its chest but it drinks most of it as it runs for a new place. The beast puts down the terrarium and then nests on top of it. It struts back and forth over its prized treasure baby and then sits on it. Claws flash menacingly for any that approach it at its new spot. It's cranky.

What is it that makes tears without sorrow and takes its journey to the heavens?

Someone wearing A brown marten mask glances towards the fawn from the arbor. He waves a gloved hand for her, smiling, visibly pleased. "You came! Terrific. Come meet my new acquaintance, a lady butterfly."

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask calls out from the benches,"A cloud."

Someone wearing a snarling brown and gray wolf mask nods at the riddle. "A clo-" damn, someone was faster. Ah well.

Someone wearing a most flamboyant gem-dusted peacock mask says, "Or someone far too drunk and preoccupied falling off Legate's Leap."

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask glances towards the lovely creature, apparently the eye contact is enough as he makes his way over to where the moth is as he gets a cider from the chest to make his way over.

Someone wearing A mask made of wood in the likeness of itself calls out. "A well thrown onion!"

"Nope...." Foxy grins.

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings mutters something into her cups, then glances up at other answers. Nope. She hides a smile, moves to allow seahorse to sit down, and occupies herself quietly at the table.

"Correct!!!"

Jack the Sparrow leaves, following Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask.

"Congrats to the lady in the owl mask!!!" A smile as she skipped over, her fox tail swishing as she does. "Now...." Backing back up to retrieve the next prize she's smile. "Next riddle!"

Someone wearing a starlight unicorn mask's smile rarely wavers during the riddle-me-this portion of the evening. A glass of white is held and sipped. She applauds the wolf at her bench of winning, eyeing the meownica prize.

Someone wearing A creamy flowered doe mask crosses the room back towards the front to gathering up a drink for herself, setting to her lips she takes a moment to make a study of the groupings, head tilting as dark waves of hair slip across a flowered and silken shoulder. Tapping the glass with her finger she begins to make a circuit of the room. The small train of the blue silk dress follows with a soft whisper in her wake.

"Congrats to the dark wolf for the kitty. But now....last riddle!!" Fox would grin as she took out the toy Raven.

"I build up castles. I tear down mountains. I make some men blind, I help others to see. What am I?"

Someone wearing A mask made of wood in the likeness of itself gives a deep chortle. "Marriage."

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask says, "Faith."

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask answers, "Sand."

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask says, "Light?"

Someone wearing white dragon mask suggests, "Time?"

"And the Raven goes to the Seahorse!!!!" Foxy laughs at the first answer though, nearly doubling over as she made her way to him. "Here you are!"

Someone wearing Silver Fox Mask picks up Poe, the Silver Raven.

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask accepts the raven with a nod of his head. "It is an old riddle from where I hail." he offers cryptically as he sets the raven in his belt and continues the discussions with the moth.

"Thank you all that participated and a big congrats again for the winners!! Now...let the music play! And it's time to dance! And why? Because I'm to judge you all....and the best dancer....gets 50 economic writs from yours truly." Foxy gave a wink then as she made her way back to the hammock. Nodding to the band she'd smile and then grinned.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask has left the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

Yeah, make the guy dressed as a tree dance for his prize. He turns his wooden mask to stare at the Foxy organizer before just shaking his head slowly back and forth.

The girl in the fawn mask is watching with quiet interest. She still seems shy, but interested regardless.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask gets Setarco Gold White Wine from a cedar chest.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask raises from her seat at the Lemur exhibit, and makes her way to where others are dancing, raising her hand at the Foxy Lady!

Again, the marten waves the fawn over to the arbor, although as the dance is announced, he murmurs something quietly toards the butterfly. It could be an offer to dance.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep jumps up and runs out to the middle of the area. It takes its foot and draws a circle in the earth. Then once its territory is marked it begins its dance in the center of the circle. It's claws thrust high as it scuttles left... then scuttles right. It clacks and snaps its claws above its head and jerks its head back and forth like a peacock showing its feathers. The dance is just... wrong. There are a lot of sounds, "WAAAARBLE!" It screeches and then suddenly it turns around to show its spine filled rump (the spines barely hanging on). It starts flashing its spines at anyone who nears the circle in a mating proposal, rump shake, of the far far deep. Oceans have woods too right? "WAAARRBLE!"

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask strolls in the direction of the dancefloor, even if she does leave the weight and bulk of her cloak on the bench rather than bring it out to the floor with her. That's definitely a prize to get her moving, at least.

Someone wearing a silken mask of shimmering butterfly wings reluctantly takes the hand of the marten, to allow herself to be lead to the dancing area.

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask has left the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask plucks up a glass of white wine this time, turning just in time to get a face full of tentacle-ass. She makes a groaning sound of dismay, lifting a hand as if to shield her eyes from too bright a light.

Someone wearing white dragon mask steps out gracefully onto the floor, pausing to offer one scaly white hand to her unicorn companion, bowing in an invitation to dance. It's a graceful move, its complexity increased by the fact that she's wearing a steel corset, shimmering with white dragonscales, and with a flourish, she leads her would-be partner to dance.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask enters from outside, his cloak fluttering behind him -- attached at each wrist by a scarlet ribbon, as though they were wings! He takes his time, looking about and apparently in no hurry, more meandering than anything.

Someone wearing a tusked boar mask leans in to murmur to the woman with the feathery butterfly mask, reaching to take her hand and drag her to the dance floor. He bows, apparently willing to join the dance.

Someone wearing a snarling brown and gray wolf mask:steps out into the dance floor, looking about and extending his hand to the woman in the silver fox mask, happily asking the woman to dance with him, should she wish.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask looks curiously at the tentacled masked person, amusement clear in her eyes. She waits for the call to dance actually happen before she does anything though - single dancer that she is. Mostly, she's just doing it to get up and move around!

Someone wearing A brown marten mask escorts the shimmering butterfly woman down to where the dancing is beginning, murmuring something quietly to her. As they pass the fawn, he leans in to tell her something as well, his tone reassuring and gentle. His gloved hand is firm on the shimmering butterfly's, as if she might break away otherwise. He stops short, staring at the tentacled mask's display. Another sharp laugh. "At least we'll do better than that."

The Fawn heads toward the dance floor and starts dancing with herself. It is hard to tell for sure, but her clothing is in wool and she probably is a commoner. She also doesn't know how to dance and so is just spinning around playfully, not knowing any formal steps.

Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask can't help but join the floor in a sweep of golden silks and fox's fur. A smile flickers once more as the tantacle mask begins it's snap and crack with a scuttle that moves across her path. She quick steps out of the way with a click of heel that is muted beneath the din in what almost might look like a dance step. Laughter rises to her lips at the display before noting the others that join the floor as well.

Fox leaned into her wolf companion to whisper.

The woman in the feathery butterfly mask is probably staring daggers at the boar right now, but she relents and lets him drag her to the floor. She draws him into a close embrace and they sway about the floor, a little bit encumbered by their costumes, but still fairly graceful.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask heads for the window of the tree house and...drops from it! Turning around to catch the ledge, pulling himself up so he is dangling by the tree house window. And then he drops again at a shorter distance, doing a roll to break his fall. Once on the ground he heads for the dance floor.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep struts the circle but refuses to leave the mating territory of tentacled doom. The beast starts to pinch its tentacle hidden nose with a claw as the other claw goes up and it simulates drowning. "Waaaarrble." It cries, "Guuuurgle." The creature then hopes up, then down, spins. And it does another spine rump shake. Suddenly it flops on the ground and does the squid/deep/wahtever version of the wyrm. "WAAAArble." It pleads to potential mates of the woodlands. Who wants to Shape of Water? "Warble?"

Someone wearing a starlight unicorn mask rises from her seat to join the dragon on the dance floor. Two mythical creatures settled beneath the warm glow of the moon and candlelight. The sparkle of her gown mirrors that of the silver worn by the dragon. She accepts the offered hand and begins to try at the dance.

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings seems far more interested in the tete-a-tete going on with seahorse than the actual dance, but she joins the contest nevertheless and moves with ... well. Not grace. She's whispering, not gliding.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask checked dexterity + athletics at difficulty 15, rolling 32 higher.

Someone wearing A creamy flowered doe mask steps towards the newly arrived red cardinal and dips into a bow, setting aside her empty glass. Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask dance dances, the kitty kind of way. Dance dances. But it's nothing like what others are doing, and so she drops back pretty easily once better dancers take the floor.

Someone wearing a most flamboyant gem-dusted peacock mask has left the a comfortable wooden treehouse.

Leading the woman with the twilight blue mask into the dance floor, it seems that Master Boar is good at spinning her around, dipping her multiple times in the course of a dance. He performs exceedingly well, even if it seems to be more on the acrobatic than the actual performatic side of things. At some point, he holds her in mid-position, leaning down to brush his mask against Mistress Twilight Butterfly's mask and straightening her.

Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask has apparently had a drink to many as her swirl upon the floor curls the soft length of her fur cloak about the pale of her legs that peek out beneath the golden silk of her dress. A side step and soft chuckle is given as she wobbles. The drink in her hand slides outwards to save it, the pale liquor sloshes around inside only to be brought back to her lips.

The enthusiasm of her partner, leaves the doe laughing, being a doe means she has nothing to exchange in kind with the chirps and whistles, but her dress flares, gliding as he spins her out, slippered feet carefully catch her before she slides. She follows his step as best she can - not quite as good as he.

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask is lead deeper into the shadows with the moth, guided away from the other dancers as he consider the words being said, the pair of them close together as they do so.

Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask takes the moment to slip off during the dancing competition.

Willen leaves, following Someone wearing Murderous Death Kitten mask.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask guides The Silver Fox, hand held in her's, to where everyone else is dancing, turning around to face her, one hand holding hers, the other reaching around to take her waist as he begins to dance with her. His movements are graceful and fluid as he begins to dance with her around the floor, offering her a little grin as he ask, "I won this dance in a fight, didn't I? I can't even remember, feels like weeks ago...it probably was weeks."

Someone wearing A brown marten mask, alongside the shimmering butterfly, is doing his best to dance. He may be a reasonably agile creature, this marten, but he's certainly not a born dancer. Still, he has plenty of confidence and, regardless of his slightly haphazard dancing, he whisks the shimmering butterfly around the dance floor without a second thought. Albeit, without a proper dance step as well. "I don't think we're winning," he tells the shimmering butterfly, with a bit of theatrical regret.

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask, the black wolf mask, elects to play up the traits of her chosen beast, after all, why not? There's anonymity behind the mask, and no-one but her to know if she turns five shades of scarlet beneath it.

Foxy is being whisked around the dance floor by the man dressed as the blue swallow. But her eyes were ever still vigilant. "And the winner is....the Dragon!!!! Consider them a personal gift to you....from me." Giving a wink she would exhale a bit then looked back to her partner, whispering.

Someone wearing a starlight unicorn mask laughs, her head slightly tossed back as her curls bounce over her shoulders. "Trip the light. You have a way with words, dragon. And riddles." The young unicorn accepts the hand, fingers curled, as she murmurs briefly to the dragon of the gathering, blue eyes taking in the delights. The first steps wobble, a bit of slippers caught on the trail of silk, but the next are better and she follows the dragon's lead. Indeed, the display by the dragon is captivating for the unicorn. Her tiny steps pale in comparison, but easily swept by the fantasy of the dance.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask spins the doe-lady once or twice, and gives her an easy, nice lift. He chuckles as he does not win and says, "Well, dancing is fun, no matter what, yes?

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask has left the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Someone wearing A creamy flowered doe mask grins, "I was certain you would win," she replues to the Cardinal and laughs all the same. She lifts her chin, blue eyes more visible beneath as she studies the red cardinal. "I think I know you," she remarks, leaning up to whisper before moving through the dancea s she waits for an answer.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep sad warbles when the winner is announced. It's spines droop. It's scuttling feet shuffle and it sad sideways walks to a spot to sulk. "wwwwarble." It says in a weak tone. Tentacles hang in sullen sad creature of the deep fashion.

Someone wearing white dragon mask is quite the dancer, for truth, and she makes her way across the dance floor with style and flair, her sleeves beating like dragon's wings and the train of her dress almost a whimsical dragon's tail. She draws the unicorn with her, practically flying she is so light on her feet, even in a room full of athletes.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask awws at the sight of the sad tentacle monster shuffling away. She reaches out to boldly pat the creature on the back as he goes, as if to be reassuring somehow.

Someone wearing A brown marten mask grimaces as the shimmering butterfly takes her leave of him at the arbor. He looks back towards the dance floor, folding his brown-clad arms, and then looks over towards the clam, who'd headed to their arbor and left. He slips over to the clam, murmuring something to the woman briefly.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask's lip twitches faintly at the whisper, responding, "But what is the fun in that?" He spins her around and then does a quick whistle again in answer, perhaps. Or not. "Part of the mystery, right?"

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask watches the sad creature and gets up yo walk over to the person in the exotic tentacled mask and smiles, "Hello." she says softly her eyes looking to him.

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask has left the a comfortable wooden treehouse.

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask dances a little while longer with The Silver Fox hostess, giving her a twirl before breaking away from her, bowing to the woman once again as he says, "You are an excellent dancer, my lady."

Someone wearing A creamy flowered doe mask laughs and sighs, "I think I am certain I know who you are.." she muses and is spun out before rejoining the Cardinal. The Doe however slows and comes to a stop, lowering into a deep curtsey to him. "Thank you, Cardinal, I must be away but there was a hungry wolf walking around here," she teases and steps back, removing her hand as she turns then, dipping her head before turns, blue dress flowing in her wake.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask laughs and calls out, "Be careful not to be eaten, then!" He chuckles, and drifts back into the 'fray', perhaps to find a new dance partner.

Letting go of her dance partner's hand, she'd move her way back to her seating but seemed let out a laugh. Looking for her date, she'd squint but smiled back to the attendees. "So...." A slow lick of her lips. "....it's time....to do.....the unmasking...." Laughing a bit she would wink. "But first!!! We announce our costume winner!" And with that, the fox would scurry off to her chest of treasures.

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep blows its nose in sadness. Its tentacles go out with the huff of air and flop about. Bbbbbbbblllllllrrrrrrbt. It plays at the dirt with its claw and draws a sad face. When it is about to be announced the contest winner the tentacled think looks up with big green hopeful eyes, "Wwwwaaaarble?"

Someone wearing Silver Fox Mask gets Wild Woodland Creatures - Costume Contest Winner Trophy from a chest of treasures.

Someone wearing Silver Fox Mask drops Wild Woodland Creatures - Costume Contest Winner Trophy.

The Fawn seems all invested in this contest, all excited and eager. Although it seems unlikely she would win. Maybe she is routing for someone?

Someone wearing an ornate gold fox mask settles along to the side of the dance floor as the party moves on. Emerald eyes rimmed in gemstones slide across those still moving gracefully across the floor. She takes a moment to admire the various masks and states of dress of those who've come. Her free hand rises to rake into the tumbling muse of raven tresses that tumble over her shoudlers to draw them back over the drape of her fox fur hood behind.

The Gray Wolf seems rather interested in the unmasking part at least as he moves forward where he could be seen easily. still enshrouded in that white cloak, the wolf smiles at the fax softly, and awaits decisions!

6 Thrax Guards arrives, following Someone wearing Smiling Pig Mask.

Someone wearing A brown marten mask reaches out a gloved hand for the clam's hand. Or whatever passes for it with a clam. "Absolutely." And, if she accepts, he moves to lead her towards the arbor. When you lose one conversational partner, apparently, you quickly gain another. Again he glances towards the fawn, offering a little wave of his hand towards her. But it doesn't stop his progress to the arbor. Nor does the presentation of the trophy, which doesn't seem to concern him one bit.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask chuckles a bit and heads over towards the woman in the dragon mask, and inclines his masked head, offering a hand, "Care to dance?" A faint grin appears on his lips.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask does have a hand, believe it or not! In fact, while her gown skirt is made of layers shaped into the elongated shape of clam shells, the high-necked dress is actually sleeveless. It's a slender hand on a slender arm he grabs! The clam follows along as she's lead. "Excellent. And then you must tell me your own inspiration for tonight."

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask has joined the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Someone wearing white dragon mask puts her hand into the Cardinal's hand, smiling coyly. "I think you'd be quite the worthy dance partner," she replies charmingly, bowing her head to him and allowing him to lead her out onto the dance floor. Her steps are light and graceful, for all her costume is mostly armor.

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask looks to the person in an exotic hide tentacled mask and gives a soft sigh and turns to look over and waits to see who is the winner.

Someone wearing A mask made of wood in the likeness of itself puts glass terrarium with gold trim in Gray Forest Heroic Healer Pouch.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask gives a faint whistle and then a laugh, "I would hope so, considering you're the best dancer here." And he leads her out onto the floor easily, his cloak flaring up behind him, feathers ruffling.

A chanting sound can be heard coming from the entryway even above the loudness which no doubt has encompassed everything here! The chanting only seems to grow louder, as if getting closer! And within but a moment later the source of such can be seen...Is that? What?!...

Six men clad in large brown robes which hide virtually all of their features are seen first, each of them with a hand and a shoulder on a wooden stave which is slid under a platform and hoisted to the shoulder, they chant loud and clearly, though nothing of any intelligent language.

On the platform, as if arriving to masses of onlooking fans, or perhaps from some horrible vile place stands a man! Or maybe it isn't a man, perhaps it is a creature! Yes! A creature, a man pig! Broad shouldered and tall, wearing what appears to be armor made entirely of cuts of pork. One of the most frightening, or entertaining things, however, is its face, which is an ever present smiling pig. In one hand the creature holds a large lance made entirely of cold meat, its tip planted firmly against the platform as to keep everyone safe from what is no doubt a dull point. His other hand is lifted into the sky in a fist, which he holds there at length. The men carry the man...pig...Thing further into view.

One of the men shouts out, "Hark! His Highness the Prince of Pork, The Sovereign of Swine, King of Bacon, protector of Pork Loin and Master of his glorious meat hath arrived!"

"SPEAK OF PORCINE GLORY, MY BROTHER!" Boar calls out, raising a fist. "KING OF BACON!"

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings is deep, deep in a shadowy corner with Seahorse - they're still dancing. You clowns, the dance is over! She looks over her shoulder at the arrival of a pig, or a boar, or some kind of non-Kosher animal, but it's fleeting. The conversation with Seahorse dominates Moth's interest.

Exhaling a bit she would return with the trophy in her hands, smiling brightly. "So before we do the unmasking....." But Foxy Lady was cut off by....a man....in a pig mask...making an entrance. Then...came the fit of laughter. What the hell just happened?!

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask sees the Prince of Pork in all his swiney glory, and immedately drops to his knee, calling out in a shout, "ALL HAIL THE KING OF BACON! MAY HIS PORKINESS RULE FOR A THOUSAND YEARS!"

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask calls out with a laugh, "Bacon is for eating!"

Someone wearing white dragon mask is arrested in her dance with the Cardinal by the arrival of the King of Bacon. She stares for a moment, her mouth slightly ajar as her brain tries to comprehend the magnitude of the porkliness. It's pretty porky. "Oh, my," she says. "Well, he's the master of his meat!"

Someone wearing leather and ribbon seahorse mask just keeps moving with the Moth, the pair of them enticed with the other's conversation as to miss the rest of the goings on. Prizes to be given? Perhaps later.

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask looks up and over blinking her eyes watching as the new arrival comes to the party and a hand moves over her mouth as she muffles the giggle that comes to her she holds her drink in her other hand and the bunny she wone in her arms.

The Foxy Lady would call out then, full of laughter. "Who dares to come into my den and disturb the party?! Some swine?!"

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings lifts herself onto her toes, seems to get very close to Seahorse inDEED, and then starts to twirl out of his arms toward the door.

Someone wearing a tusked boar mask starts leading the woman in the feathery twilight blue and silver butterfly mask to the exit as King Bacon makes his entrance!

Someone wearing a feathery twilight blue and silver butterfly mask has left the a comfortable wooden treehouse.

Someone wearing a tusked boar mask has left the a comfortable wooden treehouse.

Someone wearing a tusked boar mask leaves, following Someone wearing a feathery twilight blue and silver butterfly mask.

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask grins towards the woman in the dragon mask, "Well, meat is definitely there to be mastered." He laughs and gives her a light spin, apparently willing to dance as long as everyone else is.

"Thou most fine brother Boar! It is joy to my divine eyes of swine to look upon you!" The Smiling Pig calls out, as his worshipers slowly lower the platform. Once the platform is nears the ground two of the men break away and literally become human steps for the pig-thing to use as he descended from his hogly man fueled chariot. "Well spoken blessed Swallow! May you find favor forever!" a quick glare is shot toward the Cardinal, the stormy eyes behind the mask seething with feigned anger.

"Not just some swine my fairest Lady of Fox, the swinest of all!" he calls out with exaggerated hand motions toward the woman, slowly making his way toward the Boar, and yet somehow managing to not completely burst out laughing himself.

Someone wearing a delicate moth mask with trailing silver filigree and fanning silken wings has left the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

Someone wearing white dragon mask twirls in an iridescent swirl of white scales, giggling with delight. She steps to and away from the cardinal, ever light on her feet, her sleeves wide as wings and her claws glittering but gentle. "Have you mastered your meat, Lord Cardinal?" she inquires flirtatiously

Still in a fit of laughter, the Foxy Lady would look to the others. "Before this gets any more wild....and I love it.....let me announce the winner of our costume contest!" Looking around she'd tap her chin but stopped. "It seems a creature that needs water has won. Come up miss Clam!!!"

Someone wearing a diving swallow silken mask rises up off his knee when he is done, calling out to the group, "WHO WILL DANCE WITH HIS ROYAL HAM?" Dancing with The Prince of Pork would probably be pretty fun, since he's covered in meat. "Also, I am up to dance as well."

Someone wearing an exotic hide tentacled mask of the deep waaarbles. The Creature of the Deep hops up from its sulking spot and scuttles its way out back towards the Bay of Thrax whence it came.

Another sharp burst of laughter, and then, after mururing something to his acquaintance at the arbor, the marten tells the clam, "Go, go. Well done!" A little flick of brown-gloved hands.

A grin and says, "Ah, but what's the fun in giving that answer, Lady Dragon? Besides, would you take someone's word for it if he said he had?" He chuckles, continuing the dance, movements smooth and graceful -- almost flying, or at least an illusion of such.

Someone wearing Silver Fox Mask picks up Wild Woodland Creatures - Costume Contest Winner Trophy.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask turns from her seat at the announcement, blinking in surprise. "Did someone call for me?" ANd then her eyes widen. Oh!

The fawn cheers and claps when the winner is announced, seemingly all pleased with such.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask moves to rise, suddenly looking a touch sheepish as she moves toward the trophy and the Fox presenting it.

Abbas has left the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

6 Thrax Guards leaves, following Abbas.

"I hope everyone had fun!" Passing the trophy to the Clam she would smile warmly before turning back to the room. "Now then.....UNMASK!!" And with that Foxy pulled off her mask....and Cadenza was able to breath. Finally.

Sparte pulls off the wooden mask he was wearing.

Someone wearing a silk silvery white owl mask claps her hands together for the clam.

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask collects her trophy, staring down at the thing in a moment of disbelief before she returns to her seat, still yet masked.

Someone wearing a snarling brown and gray wolf mask claps a few times before he takes off his wolf mask, revealing the face of Prince Jericho Valardin!

Someone wearing a darkly furred wolf mask raises her voice to cheer for the clam, saluting with her current glass of whiskey. Granted, the aquamarine eyes of the wolf mask probably look like they're squinting at his Hamliness, until permission is given to unmask,"Oh thank the gods." she can't help but mutter as she peels off her helm, so Felicia can finally enjoy a whiskey without having to wriggle it up under her mask.

Someone wearing white dragon mask laughs to the Cardinal before pointing out, "I'd probably take Prince Pork's word for it! I mean, look at him!" And then she casually removes her mask while they're dancing, revealing the lovely Sorrel.

Titania looks around as everyone starts to remove their masks and so she does the same removing the owl mask she was wearing

Kit, the grey fox, a tiny man with a BIG unpronounceable name arrive, following Someone wearing A Red Fox Mask.

The Swallow unties his mask to reveal what people have probably already guessed, but it's Caspian! The man smiles as he slings the mask over his shoulder, looking over the group as they unmask themsleves with a wide grin. He calls over to Sorrel, "I loved your mask! It was good!"

Someone wearing a scarlet woodland cardinal mask laughs and says, "Well, of course." He grins and gives Sorrel a quick spin as he removes his mask with his own free hand, revealing ... Duke Harlan Ashford!

As her drink is played upon a tray nearby, hands rise to draw the golden fox mask away. Mailys let's it dangle between her fingertips as sooty lashes flicker to clear her vision from the brush of them against her mask. She draws a black cloth pouch from beneath her cloak to slip her mask into.

Mailys puts an ornate gold fox mask in a black velvet clothing bag - Costume Golden.

Sparte proceeds to lumber towards the exit in his wooden armor.

Cadenza puts Silver Fox Mask in Harall Creations Garment Bag.

Petal pulls off the fawn mask, revealing herself in the process. Seh seems all happy and without much social grace, she says. "I made that clam mask." She even has a heavy Northern Shav accent to with her lack of manners.

Harlan calls over towards Petal, "You made mine as well, it's very nice!"

"Yes come unto me ye maidens who desire to dance with his great pigness!" That creepy smiling Pig thing announces, though the stormy eyes behind the mask reach out across the room, debating on a victim, though his attention falls to rest on the winner, "You shall be blessed with my meat!" and at this his victim is found. His steps are strong and intent as he moves toward the Clam, his girthy meat lance being hoisted and gently touched to one of the Clams shoulder, and then up and over its head to the other, "Blessed be!" and now finally, he laugh! And it is a deep and loud laugh that finds the man moving to remove his own mask, though very slowly.

Someone wearing A Red Fox Mask slips in, late. That's hardly surprising. The gown matches the mask, though, and the sly fox makes a swirl as she sweeps in towards the crowd. "Ah, drat! House matters! I'm so sorry I'm late, I--" She glances around from beneath her mask. "I have no clue where the host is." So she looks around to find one!

Mailys glances towards Petal as the woman speaks up, a smile is given to her. Delight dances in her eyes even as her gaze slides back to the mask and winner in question. "Delightful," she calls softly.

The marten murmurs something to the clam as she returns with her trophy. And then he slides off the mask with a gloved hand. "Who could I possibly be?" It's dryly sarcastic, and then he takes off the mask. At least Derovai combed his hair. Five minutes' worth of effort. And another minute for the 'claws' on the gloves. But he offers a quick bow towards Petal, the ex-fawn. "Glad you came." And he's moving a little towards the clam to untie her mask. But the pig's approach makes him step away before he gets there, with a little wave of his hands.

Seeing that The Red Fox Mask wearing person is looking for the hostes, Caspian points them over to Cadenza, "You're looking for Princess Cadenza! She's over here," he says with a grin given them way.

"Caspian! Your swallow costume was delightful!" Sorrel calls over, even as she continues dancing with the Duke Ashford, no longer a cardinal.

Cadenza, the hostess, was currently by the hammock that she was using as a swing. Sighing a bit she would pat her face from the mask. Hearing her name, she would blink then looked up and saw Caspian then...the red fox masked person. Waving she'd smile then. "Hey there!"

Someone wearing an opaline river clam mask jumps a little at the placement of a hand on her shoulder, and she looks up and lets out a low growl. No doubt the pig recognizes her and that playful glare she gives him. "You little shit," she whispers fondly to the man behind her, reaching behind her head to fuss with the ties. It takes her a moment to do on her own, but finally she's able to pull the shell mask away from her face. The clam this evening? Princess Cassima Thrax.

Caspian is overheard praising Cadenza.

Petal smiles over to Harlan, seemingly flattered by his words. She looks toward the pig and her brown eyes widen. She the smiles over to Derovai next. "I am glad I came, thank you for encouraging me." She says in his direction. Petal then smiles to Sorrel. "I made the swallow to and Lady Titania's." She says, sounding exciting and still lacking manners.

Harlan says towards Sorrel, "I shouldn't be surprised you're all in metal -- although given the outfit, I would have expected a Princess of Valardin." He pauses and grins, "Not surprised, though!" He inclines his head to her, obviously teasing just a bit.

Someone wearing A Red Fox Mask slips over to Cadenza, dropping a foxy curtsey. "Your Highness! My utmost apologies for being so incredibly late and missing what was, I'm sure, an incredible party." She tips up her mask just a fraction, revealing the grinning features of Monique Telmar. "I hope that it's not entirely over yet." Her gaze drifts around to those still masked, appreciative.

A messenger interrupts the evening. The missive held in hand by the unicorn, eyes pouring over the words. Steps immediately are drawn by the woman for the exit.

Someone wearing a starlight unicorn mask has left the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

"Wyrmguard is the dragon taking flight!" Sorrel points out, lifting her arms over her head in dramatic fashion. To Petal she calls, "Your work is amazing! Everyone looks so good!"

Mailys has left the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

Sparte has left the Ring-Tailed Lemur Exhibit.

Harlan helpfully lifts Sorrel up into the air in response to her statement and motion, giving her a bit of a toss -- not too far though. It's part of the dance, really!

Smiling brightly she would shaking her head as she stood up. "No it's not. Just the games and such are over." Cadenza have her a wink then as she smiled. "But I'm glad you were able to make it regardless. Thank you for coming."

Jack the Sparrow leaves, following Mailys.

A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Cadenza before departing.

Petal smiles over to Sorrel, still seemingly all happy.

Galen continues to laugh, especially at his cousins words! He would lean in to whisper something to her, a hand lifting to cup over his mouth, though he would only linger a moment before turning and moving toward Sorrel, "Soon to be a Princess of Thrax," he announced as he drew closer to Sorrel and her dance partner, though on his way time is taken to give everyone a nod, and a flashy Galen smile, those warm things that melt hearts, though Cadenza would also get a telling wink of a storm blue eye.

Felicia has left the a sturdy pine wooden bench.

Jericho approaches Cadenza and puts a hand on her shoulder. "There you are." before he looks to Monique, bowing his head respectively. "Hi there." a smile then for her. "Prince Jericho Valardin, at your service."

Derovai remarks to Petal, "I /told/ you." He gives her an encouraging smile, as he slides the brown mask off. "I'm glad you had the chance to come. But maybe next time, don't write about it in Whites, hm? We wouldn't want people thinking I'm decent." He offers a bright grin towards the seamstress, before turning back to Cassima and adding something quietly to her.

Caspian looks over to Titania next, giving the woman a smile and a dip of his head, telling her, "I loved your costume as well. It was pretty good. Miss Petal is amazing." He looks back over to Derovai, cooing to him, "Awww, Derovai did a good thing for someone! Three cheers for Dero!"

Sorrel is tossed in the dance, and she goes with it easily, landing lightly in Harlan's arms, laughing delightedly. "You have to admit, it's nice to have a partner who can dance, hmm?" she asks him, though she's distracted by the approach of the King of Bacon. "Hello, Your Highness," she says with twinkling evergreen eyes.

Feeling that hand she'd look up to Jericho with a small smile. "I know...it got crazy...." Cadenza gave her throat a gentle clearing as she saw Galen then without his mask. Pointing at him she would then grin as she winked back. "You're late!" Laughing she'd look back to Monique then with a smile.

Someone wearing A Red Fox Mask smiles over at Jericho's appearance, a sly fox smile. "Lady Monique Telmar. I suppose that puts me in your service, doesn't it?" the Lady teases lightly. "Have you been in Arx long, Your Highness?" She glances to Cadenza. "And I'm glad that I didn't show up at the very end, when no one was left, wearing a mask. That would have been awkward."

Petal looks over to Derovai, giving him a smile that touches her brown eyes. "But you are very sweet." She says and is probably not helping things with that comment. She then looks over to Caspian, smiling to him as well.

Derovai has left the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Cassima lifts her voice as she raises the clam mask above her head. "Congratulations to Miss Petal Penrose, the true champion of the evening!"

Harlan chuckles towards Galen and says "So I have heard, Your Highness." He offers a pleasant smile as well, obviously just out to enjoy himself tonight. He smiles towards Sorrel, and says, "It is, although I try to make up for a partner's lack. Besides, I'd never tell a woman she was unable to dance -- every woman is as light as a feather and as graceful as a swan, of course." A mischievious grin.

Sorrel is overheard praising Cadenza.

Derovai scoffs at Caspian. "Don't get used to it," he tells the duelist, before tilting his head back towards Cassima. A broad shrug towards her, and then he nods approvingly at her exultation of Petal. "Who deserved to come," he adds confidently, making a point there.

Sorrel is overheard praising Petal.

Titania is overheard praising Cadenza.

Derovai is overheard praising Petal for: For having the confidence to come to the Masquerade Ball!

Titania nods her head to Caspian, "Thank you and yes Mistress Petal does fo amazing work I would go to no other." she says softly.

Cassima has left the a whimsical wooden arbor with lilacs and roses.

Petal's cheeks are quite pink as she hears all the praise and while she seems rather shy, she also seems pleased by it. "Thank you." She murmurs in her heavy accent.

A tilt of her head and she would smile. "Me? Oh I've been here a couple of months now...." Cadenza would shake her head a bit as she pulled out her hairpins, letting her long hair fall free. "And very true. But...we're here. The real party stayed!"

"Late? No, I think I was right on time! I perfectly interrupted your unmasking ceremony and with divine swine fashion I might add!" The Thrax Prince would call out to Cadenza, his voice deep and melodious. "Lets hear it for my cousin Princess Cassima! and for Miss Penrose!" he cut another glance to Cadenza, "But let us not forget to also raise cheers to Princess Cadenza herself, you all would not have been able to behold my porkly glory without her this evening." then his attention drifted back to Harlan and Sorrel, "Harlan, you're going to have to teach me how to dance like that." he grinned.
