I got a new shirt today. The last one was torn after a bit of unexpected interactions on the job. Credit to the crafter, it is quite like the one that was damaged, and she mended the old one at no extra charge.
It gets me thinking that maybe I should at least wear the metal chest armor again though, while working. I'm not fond of it these days, but it seems to make a big difference for the unexpected.

I'm not a knight, but I am endlessly fascinated with knighthood in the Oathlands. Watching my husband train Squire Serad is so interesting, it's a different approach to how we trained to fight in Southport. Perhaps I will borrow the young squire and teach him to sail, then he would be a sea knight. It's a working name, it's not as silly as horses raft things. I don't doubt the scholars are chuckling. I fear the Oathlands are rubbing off on me. Soon I might even like hugs. The world must be ending.

When one finds themselves short of proper material to construct your ambiguous projects, one might find great success in turning to the art of scavenging! Indeed, simple items found upon the ground can do in a pinch if you truly need something done now.
For example, if in need of a cloth with which to wave for your chosen individual or organization of interest, consider the Banana. The banana when taken away from its home has many peels, which may flap merrily in the wind when being AGGRESSIVELY waved in excitement. If you find yourself in need of something resembling a pole, mother nature can come to your assistance! Sticks my friends, sticks are everywhere. Find them on the ground, laying by the wayside. They need not have their story end. Use it for many things! Striking, attaching, sitting. There are so few wrong answers in this world we live in!
