Princess Lark Grayson
There are people, who the more you do for them, the less they will do for themselves.
Social Rank: 3
Concept: Weaponized Common Sense
Marital Status: single
Hair Color: blonde
Eye Color: black
Description: Lark is diminutive enough in stature and delicate enough in feature to be called doll-like. In almost direct contrast to these feminine graces, she also happens to possess large, ink-colored eyes that can't seem to help but mirror the thoughts and feelings of whomever they meet. Her sense of fashion is humble and generally unremarkable but appropriate for her station.
Personality: The true depth of Lark's severe practicality is often downplayed by her physical appearance but make no mistake, she has a formidable sense of righteousness and honor. Reserved and observant, she has never been overly social even after her appointment to High Lord, only putting herself into the crowd when necessary. Her heart is charitable, given towards encouraging especially her family in finding their own bit of happiness, but it is tempered by a realistic outlook on the world that they live in. While most would equate charitable with kind, there is very little that is kind in the woman: she is willing to take anyone to task when they step out of line, driven by a nature that is as protective and fierce as a griffon over a nest of hatchlings.
Background: Princess Lark Grayson is perhaps best known for her philanthropic endeavors and at times, her austere idealism concerning the less fortunate. Noble not only by birth but by personal virtue, Lark first became preoccupied with using her station for the betterment of her fellow man from a very young age. Although she may not have ever been adventurous in any conventional meaning of the word, she proved herself to be bold in her own manner. As she grew into a young woman, she often utilized her naturally analytical mind and innate comprehension skills to hatch any number of charitable schemes whether they be in response to acts of man or nature. Among the Graysons, it isn't uncommon to spot her toting around or bending over backwards to accommodate some new cause. It also shouldn't come as any surprise when Lark turns up her nose at any form of frivolity or subterfuge. She'd sooner be involved in managing contributions to a failing orphanage or shelter.
|Cassima||A kindred spirit in economics, with a refined sense of humor. I would definitely leave the estate to speak with her again.|
|Drake||Does a good job of getting to the heart of the matter in a social situation. And she is quite good with dogs! And possibly with children, though I think I sensed some hesitation there.|
|Elora||It's difficult to get a good "grasp" on someone like Princess Lark, but I can see why she was such an effective leader.|
|Giorgio||Not what I expected when I first sat down for a meeting with this Grayson Princess. I wish that more of the Peerage were like her. Confident and strong, I am quite interested to see what future business will look like.|
|Ida||Princess Lark Grayson seems incredibly regal and determined, which comes across rather quietly, almost effortlessly. She has an earthy grace and confidence that probably stems from both her name and, no doubt, her many experiences. Practical without pompousness, she is clearly someone who gets shit done, and done well.|
|Lorenzo||A lovely woman of pleasant company, though she seems terribly serious. Almost certainly she needs a vacation.|
|Nigel||Princess Lark Grayson is a woman that seems to be the embodiment of what I would have expected of her prior to meeting her formally. Regal, strong of presence, charming, and stern all at once. She has lived a life worthy of many fine tales. It is my hope to learn more of her and perhaps to hear some of the stories that have made her who she is.|
|Raimon||First seen at Reese' GodSwearing Ceremony at the Shrine of Gloria, the diminutive Princess of House Grayson carries herself with a steeled spine and austere mien. She seems to bind up her emotions as tightly as I do, shedding only a fractional tear at the Releasing of Vows . . . a tear instantly dabbed away with birdlike precison.|
|Rook||Is it overplaying my hand or showing it to my team?|
|Sirius||A regal and self-possessed Princess of indisputable manners. With a look, she could shake off of you the very notion of impoliteness you've been burrowing so deep within, and that is how you come to find she cares. Horrible at chess, however. Terrible. Atrocious. Words, as always but paltry things, fail to describe wholly.|
