Ya know sometimes it gets stuffy thinking about the past. Thinking on Dominic and his passing, who really thought war-pigs were a good idea? Fuckers eat everything but damn it all, he went for it. That was his entire way of life and I can respect it.
When that gets a little too drowsy I can think on past battles. Something you might think gives me plenty of fucking reminiscing. But sometimes even that ain't a story I'll share with a couple of drinking partners. I like many was a stupid child, and stupid children do stupid shit. I did a lot of stupid child shit the first time I could hold an axe for myself. Somehow I didn't manage to break everything though. Duchess Margot who I can stray close enough to call 'friend' is proof of that.
Now I'm here. Married. Ruler. Tossing Prince Talen off boats one day, sitting quietly at the dinner table the next. I don't feel real fucking stable no more, but times of change will fuck you up bad like that.
By the end of everything though, I think I'm gonna end up leaving a decent mark.

It has been a whirlwind of a week and emotions. Although, I am glad that I tend to just stay happy as Jayus colors the world around me. Sometimes the artist in me has all those passions that go good and bad. I have met wonderful people. Enjoyed my time with an otter. I paused on a few commissions as I am waiting for inspiration and then they shall finish. I have felt great highs of new friendships and great lows that come with passions I fear.
I have learned though that with every hurt feeling there is another and greater warmer feeling. Jayus provides. He saw the fracture in my heart and he showed me how it is only beauty in fragility. Thank you all that I have met this past week or so. It has provided laughter and inspiration.

We do. I do. The quality of life and the struggle of those in the Lowers, and newly freed Thralls, matter to me. Always. Especially as a member of the Iron Guard. If you have any issues with the Guard, I'm always available to try to help fix them. This goes for everyone, not just Master Torian.

Time is a funny little thing, isn't it? It can spend itself away and change the tide of wars, turn enemies to friends and friends to ghosts - the pure face of change, and yet... And yet... nothing truly changes in the end. Perhaps it is just that time is the biggest illusion of all.

I have ever admired my cousin. She is an incredible leader on the battlefield and no less off the battlefield. She is ever working to bolster trade and strengthen the economy of Southport. When I first arrived in Arx, I met a Lycene woman who taught me things I needed to know, and whom I soon fell in love with. We became close.

Plans continue apace, and I find that I am ever busy. I have accepted another large comission, which will occupy my time going forward for a while. Hopefully this won't deter others. As well, there's the work with the Gold Order and the Mourning Isles - which admittedly is exciting and scary in its own way.

This has been an interesting week to say the least. I'm not even sure where to begin focusing my thoughts. I'm dreadfully sorry to hear about that business with Malvici losing all their gold, and all I can say is I hope that the culprits are caught. Plainly, there is something more at work here, and I wish Duchess General Calypso the best of luck in working through this crisis.

My congratulations to both Princess Cara and Prince Laric on their baby boy. He is a beautiful addition to Grayson, and I am sure that he will grow up to make us all proud. I also hope that we can allow him to grow up happy and needing for nothing, with a bright future ahead of him.
