I have been told that I am a quiet man. I suppose that this is true in some respects, though I do not agree with it at all times. I wonder however if I am too quiet. I have been silent during the theological discussions lately and though I initially just glanced at them, I asked the scholars to note each for my later review. This way I can truly take the time that they deserve to read them, to reflect on the contents, and to think about my actions of past and present. There is so very much to think about.

Charity agreed, of course. With a titter, in fact. Then together they giggled about how they could offer to draw you a bath and give you a massage thereafter.
But I guess you do not really want to transform that sunken little bird's chest of yours. And oh, as my uncle noted, once you creep into the thirties, of which you are not far from, you start to get this bit of paunch at your gut. It isn't as if I have to look at it, so I am really not that concerned.

While I can't speak for the Marquessa in terms of who provides her with hugs and the rest.
I can say that you're always welcome to stop by the manor should you find yourself in need of a crisp high five. Rain or shine, awake or asleep, call upon me and I will answer. Second thing, in the afternoon: training dummies. You're going to learn how to use a sword, a spear or a glaive. I leave you the faculty to choose.
Third thing, in the evening, right before dinner: push-ups. You got that right. You're doing push-ups and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Fourth thing, accept a hug and a kiss to the forehead by no less than three (3) family members, along with not demuring from any words of praise.

One would never think that we'd get along as much as we do, but there you have it.
Thanks for the kind words. Know that I find you to be brave, honorable and willing to make sacrifices on behalf of your honor and word. These are the great makings of any leader worth their weight in gold.
And you took the opportunity that was given and I think Ostria is a much stronger place as a result.

For quite some time my husband and I have settled disputes with words, agreements, and when necessary taking the knees out from beneath our social opponents...
...I recognize now that I can not be so focused in my methods of enacting my will across the Compact. I've always been surrounded by capable swordsmen, but I've never taken up a weapon myself. That will be changed, I will take up the sword, the spear, perhaps even the glaive so favored by my people, and begin training. To ensure that when the time comes, when words fail, my blade will be able to see what I want come to pass.
Especially now that I know that if I mur- *the ink here is blotted out, and the writer begins anew.* If I slay someone in self defense, all I need do is say a few prayers, pay a fine, and find myself free to go.
I have convinced the Marquis to join me in this martial endeavor, as he has some skills already with the sword, even if he has allowed those skills to grow a bit rusty. I am told this will be excellent bonding time, and it was even confirmed, if only inadvertently, by a one master Voss who informed me he intended two people to spar and instead they ended up falling in love. I do not expect love, but I certainly would never use this as a way of taking out all my frustrations on the Marquis with a deadly weapon. Any rumors one may have heard about my breaking his wrist are just that, and foul besides!

Lord Theron Mazetti is more than a Sword.
He is industrious, savvy, motivated, and damn does he have nice hair that shines with the light from within. He's so much more as well and, above all else, he's exceptionally loyal to his House and the duties of it. Probably why they stuck him with a blade called Allegiance. He's also the Minister of Allegiance. The guy's stuck being loyal, okay?
Additionally he hasn't murdered anyone and required that we pay his fine while he writes a few empty words. So he's got that going for him, which is nice.
