Relationship Note on Corban
I reached out recently to see if there was anyone interested in cross training their soldiers with my own. I'm glad to say that I heard almost immediately from Lord Corban Telmar. It's been fascinating to watch some of the drills, seeing how each group learns from each other and takes something away new. And I hope that it strengthens the bonds between the Laurent soldiers and those of the Telmarch. We're going to need that kind of unity in the days to come.

Relationship Note on Talen
I’ve said it in our recent war meetings but it really must be recorded in the journals as well. I am very impressed with Archduke Consort Talen and how diligently he has taken on the job of commanding the war efforts in the south. I have personally seen him listen to and include all manner of support, attack, defense and anything in between in building this campaign. Truly, he should be commended for this work.

Made a bunch of armor. Put it in the shop for people to buy. Bunch of simple shit for people with little money that just need a little protection. One set of frou-frou crap for people that like to swan about looking like leafy tree's. Should probably make some more crap before people need it.

I decided to go to the rite at the Shrine of Lagoma tonight. Never have I been so thankful of an impulsive decision. Sometimes following your heart is just as good as following your gut. I saw something that has given me a greater sense of purpose. I do not yet know how to describe what I saw except as the divine gracing the rite, even if only for a moment.

Calypso brought me a cat, the other day. Was told Jakob von Mousebatton (name) would be helpful, may be able to see Shadow Hunters. Helpful, if true. Side project: understand cat behavior. Creature behaves erratically, sometimes sprints in circles for unknown reasons. Makes sounds at door to be let out. I let him out. He makes sounds outside door to come back in. Repeat as many times as takes until Jakob is bored. He enjoys feathers on long strings tied to sticks.

Today I made my rounds praying at each shrine. When I finished it donned on me that even though I pray I never ask for anything. So today I start fasting and praying to ask where and what the Gods want me to do in this war. I pray that listen -- and I shall follow.
