It's funny how beautiful these nails are. I don't even feel the glue I had to use to put them on. They're ever so much nicer than those little lye-burnt nubbins I had had thanks to all that ash hauling I had to do. I wish they could be forever, but I suppose I have the advantage of flexibility, now.

My first impression of this woman, who I have come to learn is 'Prima' Shard, was that of a brutal warrior. She spoke of gruesome implements of war and hunting as if they were common day things. However, as we have continued to encounter each other she has oddly been kinder to me than people of Arx, I have encountered. I apologize to any who may have been looking for me in recent times. After the expedition to High Hill, I chose to remain for an extended time, seeing to the health of the people there after their deeply traumatic experience. While I expect to be quite busy with matterns concerning High Hill in the future, I am reasonably certain I can attend to my other duties in Arx as well.
