Day Six - 2/26/1008 AR
Today concludes my pilgrimage into the Shrine of the Thirteenth, and I feel that through my prayer and meditation, I have learned a lot about myself, and the Gods. There is always more to learn, of course. Yet I feel as though a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

I've written about the rest and I haven't forgotten about you. I was just thinking that I needn't write about my family now that we're all reunited, but that would be doing Vellichor a disservice if anything. I think I'm getting the hang of this social attendance thing. Went to the woodland ball, as a wolf. Wasn't the only one, huge surprise there. Didn't win the costume contest, also not really a huge surprise, or the dancing contest either.
Did manage to get one of the riddles right first, though, and now own this horrendously soft and fluffy blue furry toy whose name is apparently Meownica. It's terrifyingly adorable. The dragon suggested I should send it to Princess Reese, and were it pink, it would be in the hands of the first messenger to the Grayson estate.
Perhaps her highness would accept blue, for a one of a kind adorable kitten.

Lady Elsbetta Farshaw, my lady-sister by marriage, is such a charming and slightly peculiar woman. I'm never really sure what she's thinking. She's like a slightly frosted over mirror; opague but not completely so. I look forward to the coming years as we learn each other.

I've been having requests for some of the songs I write come to me. I generally write songs in response to events, but they arn't entirely mine. I borrow older songs and rework the lyrics and the melody a bit. I'd love to imagine I'm a great talent, but I'm a musical hack.

Relationship Note on Cigano
You should definitely hire Cigano the Fortune Teller. He puts on a good show for your fifty silver. You can't even tell how he shuffles those tarot cards to make them work out for the story he wants to tell! Very much worth the cost.

Met two men, Mayir Grayhope and Cigano the Fortune Teller. Mayir payed for both his and my fortune. He's a rather happy fellow. Cigano told me the fortune of my chance to become known in the world, in regards to the blade. He's rather observative. Mayir gave me information of Baron Audric of the Valorous Few, who I could attain a job as a Sellsword from.

I am proud. Not just for my cousin's recent appointment, but for many others reasons. She recently handled what could have been a disastrous situation with grace, humility and sense. She is a genuinely good person and I thank the Gods and Spirits both that she is a Greenmarch.

I've barely just returned to the city and already I find the number of tasks I must get to mounting. Some tasks are more daunting then others. I admit I took some time to simply enjoy the city in the hopes some matters would work themselves out on their own. While it is tempting to say that I got very little done making contacts within the city is paramount at this time to get the shop back up and running properly.
