The entries I have seen about people trading siblings have brought a welcome, if perhaps, momentary reprieve from the grief and sorrow that abounds.
And yet I am reminded that I would trade nearly anything for even a few days more with Nadine, for something different.

While I would never trade my brother for any thing in this world or any other, I am not sure that he would say the same about me. If I remember correctly, I think he might've turned me in to our parents for breaking a vase in exchange for a cookie, when we were younger.

I'm rather certain he had hoped for a brother and not some scrambley little girl often tagging along on his adventures, but I would like to think I've grown on him. Cousins, though? Well. What will people give me for Itzal? He's not too ugly, he's tall enough to reach high shelves, he's reasonably physically fit and can lift boxes, and he has a pretty good singing voice.
