Relationship Note on
Isolde
Princess Isolde Velenosa is the kind of woman that men write songs for ... songs that are likely better than the one I came up with to complete my task at the Smoke and Shadows Gala. But while another man's song might rhyme, it would be surely less inspired than mine.

There is something about her and I that works in tandem, whether it be similar views of the world or our walks of faith. We skirt on the edge of what is suspicious, representing the faiths that we do. While I would never convert and neither would she, I still think we could learn from one another. Besides, she does have very good taste in wine.

I have absolutely, positively no idea what to make of Princess Isolde. But if she's interested in my company, I will provide it. It may prove useful.

The Invocation was quite memorable. Your ability to perform the ceremony as well as the blessings should be something all hold in their minds for a long, long time. I have been thinking about what we all prayed for, agreeing with it though I think there are other things to pray for, such as truth as to what happened to the Queen and to all those who were killed, stability is a noble goal.
There are more things that I would like to learn, but you, my dear Princess, know that already.

Isolde
There is quite a lot one could say about Princess Isolde. A better man would wax poetic - but I'm fairly sure there've been plenty of songs and poems written on her behalf. I may be quite the storyteller, especially when boasting about my many feats, but poetry and songs were never my forte.
So instead, I will simply say this: Princess Isolde carries with her a strength that you don't find in many Southern women. It's undeniably impressive, and I look forward to each and every meeting I have with her. I am not quite sure if I can call her yet a close friend, but at the very least, I am enjoying having someone to go on adventures with. Even if one of those adventures is to a secret room behind a secret door that doesn't actually exist.

A lovely woman, priestess, spiritual advisor... it's hard to describe Isolde. All I know is she brought me a moment's peace and it helped. I am grateful.

I am sure I am not the first to remark that the entertaining Princess Isolde is certainly able to throw one off-kilter with tremendous social strength. Mores mean nothing to her. But she has been kind and gracious, so before I say more that might appear untoward, allow me to say that I owe her some part of my good health and I find her great company that I would love to share on as many occasions as I can find it.

Isolde
What impresses me most about Princess Isolde is her strength of personality. She is entirely certain of herself but seems to take care to avoid overpowering the people around her. Indeed, she it is her interest in others that I recognize mostly strongly. It is an interest that seems to come at least partly of her dedication to her chosen god but when one moves in circles where many have difficulty seeing beyond themselves to others, I view her desire to connect with those she encounters as a strength.

Isolde
She is such a well-known and public figure in Arx, and I did not find Princess Isolde in personal meeting to fail that image. Rather, I found her much more, speaking with the wisdom and thoughtfulness of one who has studied, questioned, and meditated on the works of many minds. I may have over a decade on her in years, but there is much I could learn from her when it comes to the more scholarly and philosophical, or even myself when she asks questions I would never think to consider. She has also joined the list of those who have volunteered to help with my son's education to such a degree that I fear his tutor will be most put out to find himself one less pupil.

An interesting woman, Princess Isolde. Dazzlingly pretty, very bright, and a skilled conversationalist. She also didn't get mad when I got drunk at a theater and decided to entertain myself by mocking the actors. I did explain that I knew most of them, at least.

Seriously, how can she be so obviously nothing but trouble, and yet so overwhelmingly nice at the same time? That just doesn't seem right, especially after spending my whole life time, learning how little you should ever trust a Mirrormask. She just has a way about her where she could say, "Dear, I am afraid I am going to need to cave in your temple with a cobbler's mallet." in her most innocent voice for a moment, just a moment, I would almost agree with her and accept this. I should really be more careful around her.

Princess Isolde, I cannot say I truly know what she looks like, I have seen more of her body than her face, no true complaints there! Despite this, I consider Isolde a friend. Perhaps it is the mask that makes me want to get to know her better, or the fact she seems to take an interest in helping with the past mistakes I have made. I have gifted her with likely the most unique gift I could think of, a pair of steel dancing shoes. I have tested these shoes, whilst dancing with Isolde. Granted I never stepped on her toes. I look forward to more meetings with the Princess.

I had the pleasure of meeting Princess Isolde one day - a meeting planned after she wrote to me expressing her interest in a potential business proposal. Considering my curiosity was piqued, I could not very well turn her highness down. Very friendly and sociable noblewoman, I found her most kind and amicable - and she has a very, very shiny mask. It was very enjoyable to socialize with her, she's very outgoing so it was easy to speak freely. I look forward to working with her.

I encountered the Mirrormask, Princess Isolde Velenosa. We had a rather quaint discussion on religious theology and dogma. We disagreed on a few things. Agreed on others. Interesting but more dangerous then others know. Hopefully they never find out.

After months in Mourning the loss of Queen Genevieve, I finally made my debut return as a scion of the Whisper House. What a joy to have made this first step with non other than the Princess Mirrormask, herself. In one night I was reminded of the many beautiful joys a Whisper can behold. Thank you my beautiful Princess.

Isolde
When I first met her highness, I'm not sure what I expected. One hears such tales of Mirrormasks and I hadn't had previous occasion to interact with one of their number. I had anticipated coldness and found warmth. I had thought to find single-minded purpose, a fixation on subjects that most of us would rather forget as we go through the day to day. Instead, I found the very opposite of that, what seemed an authentic desire to shine her grace and generosity on those around her.
I am most impressed and very much looking forward to future encounters.

With an ill-timed glance and a tactless oration, incredulity and disenchantment were transplanted into the minds of many I'd left in my wake that night at the Redrain Reception - some, perhaps, even wounded. Regrettably, I imagine this was the case with Princess Isolde Velenosa, an acolyte of the Thirteenth who I've had little interactions with save for passing pleasantries at the Velenosan parties I'd had the pleasure of attending some short time ago. Reconciliation looms out of the question, in the mean time, but the threat of the Inquisition (specifically Prince Gareth) harassing the Mirror has been mitigated, so there is that.
