Relationship Note on Cara
I so miss my dear sister. Though the distance between Ashford House and Grayson Mansion is slight, it still seems as though it is a gulf that now exists between us. It is the change when one marries and moves on to a new home, and new responsibility..and I miss her even as I rejoice for her. Still, once my niece or nephew arrives, I hope that things shall settle somewhat and we can find mischief to be about together once more.

With the siege ended, Brand annihilated, and all seeming to turn towards quiet and rebuilding I have for the first time the opportunity to find myself without a particular direction or goal in mind. There are matters that I've been asked to see to, of course, but overall I am uncertain of the direction I shall walk upon the dawning of a new morning. All I am certain of, thus far, is that it seems I shall walk it in the company of the woman I love. And if that's the case, no matter what direction I walk, I shall go there gladly and with determination.

Our first masquerade! I cannot explain how excited and happy I am that it was a great success.
My heart skips beat when I think of all the guests who attended. Such excellent company I could not ask for. The masks so beautiful, so mysterious and yet so alluring. The conversations, the dancing and the laughter. The garden filled with music and light. Such a moments took my breath away.
It was such delight and success I think we might have to host a masquerade at the start of each season for the Hart. There was such magic in the air. Such starlit nights make for such beautiful memories. And the more beautiful memories we have the better, I think.
I am so grateful to those who joined us in making an offering of light to this city so we could honour our people's strength and those who saw us through this dark times and to celebrate the light we have found again. Yes, we must rebuild, but in this there is new hope for more light than ever.
In truth I don not know exactly who all attended, but I suppose that is part of the fun. But to each I am so grateful. I cannot wait to have you in my Hart again and I cannot wait to see this this city and its people blossom.
I cannot wait to dance again. <3

My dearest friend, the moment we met we knew it was going to be that way. That friendship has only strengthened since then and I am grateful and thankful for all the laughter and joy she's brought into my life. A more fair and wise woman can not be found for Guildmaster. This is why I came to her right away when trouble arose and the response was quick and decisive. Then I think too things like this should never have to be brought to her as they should never have happened... Still, when they do I know I can rely on her and her judgment on any matter evolving anyone in the guild.

Relationship Note on Malik
A talented Artist who has recently arrived to Arx by way of Setarco, or I assume by way of Setarco as he is also a talented Whisper. We met at his gallery which is still a work in progress but the manner in which he designed the glass door, I knew I had to hire him to do a portrait of me. His skill with the brush and canvas does not disappoint and I can only imagine how pleased Inigo will be with his wedding gift.

I do not know what I would do without Marian some days. She never ceases to amaze me; sometimes I think I've figured her out, only to be shown a different layer of her beautiful personality and left learning more and more of her. She is an amazing sister.

The Celebration of Light Masquerade hosted by Princess Valencia Redrain and Lady Ariel Darkwater was a splendid affair. Everything from the decorations to the costumes and masks were exquisite and the attention to detail was superb. There was drinking and dancing without any sort of drama that would have taken away from a beautiful evening. Attending the event was something of a last minute decision for me and I am so very glad I decided to pull away from business for a few hours in order to take part in the festivities.

Everything turned out far better than I thought it would. Duchess Belladonna was a fabulous co-host, and I'm grateful Marian and Sasha were there to help me out when things became a little too overwhelming.

So it turns out that Valardin weddings are very.. pious. VERY PIOUS. Though I guess the real action was on the way home when we got attacked by mutants. Really I feel Lord Darren best summed up everything. I just wish that I hadn't felt so sick to my stomach afterwards. I have seen a great deal of things. That still managed to surprise me!

Relationship Note on Niccolo
Archduke Niccolo Velenosa has made me a knight of Lenosia. It is a great honor. I will have to trust his Grace's judgment though, as I never thought I was much suited for knighthood. I never used to give such things much thought before. I can fight, and I can even sit on a horse and not fall down, and I suppose I've done some deeds, though I never did think of them that way. But his Grace seems to think I can do it, so I suppose I must.
His Grace says I've got to learn about Lycene history and such things, which seems a bit scholarly, but maybe that is part of knighthood in Lycene parts. I shall try not to embarrass his Grace or his House or anyone else, though 've not had much learning in knightly matters. I don't even know if a knight gets paid for knighting or if it's more rewards for such deeds as rescuing princes and whatnot.

She is young... she is energetic... she is a woman who reaches for goals so high that others would be daunted by... She is a healer who has stitched me three or four times for the same wound, and given me things to soothe my throat, all with patience and kindness, and only slight admonishing for doing too much while injured.... She is a shaman who holds a passion for the Spirits not unlike my own....
She has also quickly become one of my very best friends, whom I hope to have near me for a very long time. She adds a brightness to my day whenever we speak... she reminds me of how I used to be. Maybe knowing her will help me be more like I once was.
