My brother has an amazingly badass wife. I am so glad he has you. I will protect you the same way I try to protect him (but without thrown shoes, I promise). We may have to create a rotation of who gets to kick peoples asses on his behalf though, since I am equally certain we will both always want to do so!

A more Valardin wedding I have never heard of. There was the requisite interminable length of vows, and off-key singing. But then... there was the ring and clash of steel, the pounding of hooves, and some very Knightly ass kicking and bravery.
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Katarina, Alexis, and Monique. Without them having stopped an Assassins blade this may not have been the resounding victory that it turned out to be. And without Eirene and Eleyna, our Alexis may not have made it.
I wish I could thank everyone by name, and I am sure I have forgotten a heroic deed. But it is not meant to slight anyone. I am just so relieved, and so happy. Thank you, everyone. Really.

She handed my ass to me in the most dangerous and sensual manner I could ever imagine. A phenomenal instructor. I am in awe of her speed, her fierceness and her determination. She is also quite easy on the eyes as most women from the Lyceum are. She taught me how to protect myself and my family and I will always be ever so grateful for these lessons.

The battle went much as expected.
Alas that the enemy was an I'll disciplined horde, bereft of champions, for there were no foes of high standing whose defeat would win renown. Yet they came in great number, and there were many brave deeds done in the name of Gloria and Valardin.
I regret that so many enemies fled the field, for it robbed us of the chance to make a decisive end to them, yet a victory it remains.

I suppose I can check, 'riding Abyss-bent into an ambush on the back of a war elk with Sir Daemon,' off of my bucket list. Not that I actually /have/ a bucket list, but perhaps now I should start one. No sexy scar for me, but I'm pretty okay with that.
