Long journeys are definitely more pleasurable with a friend along to keep one company. The ride wasn't the most enjoyable I've ever been on, and some of the table and campside discussions were unsettling, but even so it was a pleasure to travel in your company. We shall have to do so again.

I had nearly forgotten what a truly stunning presence my cousin is. Stunning in a way beyond just her beauty, of course; she has an easy warmth and light that feels like being near a hearth fire despite her seemingly icy coloring. Even though we are nearly the same in age, I've always rather looked up to her. She makes me laugh with hardly an effort and it's like home is just a bit closer when she's around. Perhaps because we were close when we were younger, it was almost like no time had passed at all when we finally managed to be in the same place at the same time today. I am beyond glad that we share a city again!

Today I watched my dear friend Princess Astraea spar with Princess Marian in the training center and best her. It was an incredible fight. I feel honored to call such a fighter my friend. I also got to meet her younger sister Princess Echo, and I intend to call her a friend as well someday.

What a pleasure it was to see my dear sister near immediately upon my arrival to the city. Though she may take on more and more work every time I see her, it should not come across as surprising as she'd welcome me home immediately. It's difficult to hold your head up high when faced with tragedy but to have the brightest star impress upon me only the warmest smiles and the kindest words, things seem a little bit easier.

My sister keeps volunteering us for things. While I love her enthusiasm for life and helping others, I'm not sure I'm cut out for this. The last time I held a sword was right before gifting it to my dearly departed husband.

I met her at the Ambassador Salon when I delivered a weapon she wished made. She seems to like it, and I am quite happy that people like my work. That said she also is quite kind as well!

I've missed seeing my cousin the years she has been gone. It is good to have her back near family and I wonder what changes her time up north have made in her. When we used to play 'Lady Manners' she would always win, but she was still fun to be around.
