What one may call wrinkly and old, another calls personality lines and evidence of a life well-lived, of determination and endurance and a strength of character. I hope as I age my face will show smile lines, joyful crinkles more than the fine lines caused by scowls, worry, and grief.

I was invited to join the Lodge of Petrichor by Blessed Brigida. She's tough woman, but kind and good once you get past the first scoldings and menacing taps from her staff.
Though I've only been in Arx a week now, it's beginning to feel like a place to call my second home. The Lodge grounds are truly beautiful. Now to remember to give thanks to Petrichor for any successful hunt!

Archlector Brigida is so very dear to me and I, too, am worried. After reading Aletta's white journal entry, I've decided that I will frequent the Shrine of Petrichor this coming week and pray for the health and well being of the Archlector. I will also travel to the Lodge to help around the grounds however I can.
During this time, I shall not hunt the avians. My focus lies elsewhere.

I am deeply concerned and worried for Archlector Brigida of Petrichor. Since she returned from the expedition to High Hill, where Duke Arn, Prince Caius and so many brave Compact soldiers lost their lives, she has been increasingly withdrawn. She is eating little and I believe sleeping less despite both mine and Keski's attempts to get her to eat and sleep more.
Her refusal to change out of those dirty, blood stained robes is also worrying and I dare not broach the subject with her against lest my knuckles suffer again.
She spends to much time alone and not even the presence of Oswald seems to provide any cheer for her. She refuses to speak about what happened at High Hill to anyone I know and I fear for her health.
I will pray to Petrichor further for her.

Had a wonderful talk with the Archlector when I came to the Shrine of Petrichor to visit. I had intended to paint or sew something in the relative peace and emptiness of the Shrine but every time I run into her she makes me so pleasantly homesick for my grandmother. I love picturing what their friendship must have been like before she was married into Nightgold and Blessed Brigida joined the church. Such charm and verve must have made them terribly popular.

Charmingly clever, bold and quick-witted. Perceptive and gifted with a sharp and articulate grace. Does not seem to suffer fools gladly. And, beneath it all, very kind and wise, I think.

It's not often that I find myself stopped in my tracks, but the one I've heard called the Golden Rose of Tor can stop me any day. Is she the Silver Rose of Tor these days? Sure she had to set aside her ties to her family in order to pursue her future as one of the Godsworn, but I suppose one could say that you can take the Rose out of Tor, but you can't take the Tor out of the Rose?
Either way, super great old person. Hope I'm as smooth as her when I'm old and silver. I really hope I can amount to being exactly 82% as impressive as her when I've reached walking stick age.
