I may not have agreed with the choices that Admiral Alrec made in his life, but I will say that he was a formidable swordsman and an outstanding seafarer. Hopefully that will be remembered as well.

I feel like I reached a major milestone in my life by earning the position of Admiral. It was not a short process and I had to prove myself. Firstly as a sailor and soldier in the Southport Navy. Then as Captain of the galley Osprey and then Commodore of my Raptor Squadron.
Having responsibility for all of Southport's ships now is a sobering thought.
I hope I am up to the challenges ahead.

Relationship Note on Madeleine
Madeleine, Archlector of Magnata has helped make me feel closer to the Goddess of the Sea and Sky than I have for a long time. She is a credit to her position and the Goddess and answered some questions I have had for some time. The fact that the answers have given rise to more questions is a moot point.

Relationship Note on Reese
Firstly, I am deeply saddened by Princess Reese's decision not to participate in the Grand Melee, moreso because of these rumours that people will be attempting to fix the battle so she wins.
I have no problem with the idea of temporary alliances on the Tournament Grounds, with the proviso that they are for the benefit of all involved and those still realise that they must face each other eventually to be named victor.
Secondly, how dare they insult her by even suggesting she needs assistance. I fought against her in the last Grand Melee and found her to be an outstanding warrior and would have been honoured to lose against her again.
Shame on whoever is responsible.
