Princess Gwenna hosted a dinner yesterday. It was quite enjoyable, we chatted, met new people, hand a few laughs and a few debates. The food was wonderful and the drinks plentiful. Loud, hard to hear people though, but that is normal for a Northern dinner. Could have used more bear wrestling though. I enjoyed it though and would happily go again.

A lot of drama surrounding white journals recently. They feel less like a religious obligation and more like gossip penned down. And while I do not feel the same religious obligation as a practitioner I am still surpised at what the journals are being used for.
To a more personal matter, my cousin Cassima Thrax and my sister Tila Sanna and I met a few days ago in my hall, had drinks and spoke of family. It was the first time my sister and my cousin met, and it was a great experience. All three of us enjoyed it, but especially my cousin. I have the feeling that she is going to grow quite fond of House Sanna.

I feel as though I had not been doing enough recently for my house and my countrymen and women. Not that I had been doing nothing, but it feels like there is more I could be doing. Next week I will take it upon myself to put more effort into this. Prehaps I can try to aid in rallying the banners.

A few days ago we held a causal dinner and drinks between The Halfshav and Sanna, hosted by my sister Tila. It was a wonderful dinner with a roasted pig and plenty of drinks, particularity whiskey. We laughed, we learned, we sung praises to each other, and overall it was a good event. I hope we have more of them soon.

I am writing this journal not expecting to pen one again so soon. A noble of a nearby land had put a toll on a road leading into Giant's Reach, and there are few roads that even lead into my lands, thus it was a harm committed upon me and my people. I rode north to meet this noble to discuss removing the toll, sending a messenger ahead of me to inform the noble of my coming. But on the second day of my ride I received a messenger informing me that the nobleman had decided to remove the tolls. And thus I rode back to Arx, expecting to be at least a week away, if not more.

House Sanna is reaching out to the tribes near Giant's Reach. Winter is coming and the North is no longer safe for the Abandoned tribes. We want to bring the tribes supplies, healing and assess their further needs in the event that they bend the knee and join the Compact.
We need to convince them to join us peacefully. We need storytellers, linguists, adventurers, diplomats, singers, soldiers, healers and any generous lover of the compact.
