Relationship Note on Felix

Felix always seems to do exceptional work for me! He's a real master of his craft and most definitely my smith of choice here in the city. He made Ursa, my rubicund longsword, not long after I arrived in the city and I recently collected a full suit of plate mail from him as well. Heavy armour isn't normally my style, honestly, though with a war on the horizon it seemed wise to have a suit of it made. I'm tempted to order a few more things from him as well.

Relationship Note on Felix

There is little that I've found makes the commons happier and brings them more levity than a good duel! If anything, we should have more to keep everyone's spirits up.

You can't use a figurine of Skald as a prize for a pun contest!

Skald hates puns. You should use a figurine of Death!

Relationship Note on Felix

Puns, you say? With a figurine at the end of it?

I'll have to craft my responses wisely, lest they be sculpted without care. I imagine my pun reputation might grow to be quite statuesque.

An extraordinary hand at crafting, Heartwood came out better than I could have hoped. Not only a skilled craftsman but a helpful soul; Master Felix is someone I enjoy the company of.

The weapon, lives up to my mind, and it is well made, and the armor is perfect, I will shout to the heavens this is the only smith for me. Thank you dearest sister for this gift, and I will use it to protect our family.

Relationship Note on Felix

I have hired this man, Felix Meadson, to craft me a two weapons, one is a sword and the other is an ax for backup. The work in his shop was amazing to me, and my hand is quivers for the joy of practicing with my new blade and ax, my hand messes the feeling of something not made out of wood, or cheap iron. He says in a week I shall have it has been too long since my last one was lost at a battle at sea, and I await with bated breath for this to be mine.

Relationship Note on Felix

I have decided I like him.

He is unusually empathetic for a weapon smith, but such a rare trait in befitting for a Knight of Solace.

I hope things get better for them soon.

An excellent weaponsmith. He put a better edge on my blade in an hour than I've done in weeks with my whetstone.

I've been under the weather of late, Felix has to make me stay in bed and let him fuss over me.

I woke up to a tray of tea and Setarco Gold and a lovely letter from him.

I'm a lucky woman.

Never that! When my custodianship of your crafting is concluded, another will lift it up.

And from them, another.

The Faith does not have the honor of ancient heirlooms, but we do not cast aside what serves the gods. In time Banisher will be known among my brothers and sisters. I do not expect so in my lifetime: I speak not from pride but faith. It will take time and generations for such honors.

But we are begun upon a path.

But... no. I did not expect such... controversy, over the idea that a defender of the Most Holy would be so equipped. Alas.

Relationship Note on Felix

Felix performed this admirable work for the Faith while granting us a generous discount. Yes, the price of defending against the darkness is high, but not a single silver went towards anyone's luxury.

Felix is a smith of both faith and honor: his effort and work was respected and the fees he rightly owed for commission, he halved. This was done without any request or pressure from this: this was a pure act of Faith and honor on his part.

Let it be known: Felix is a man of great honor and faith. He knows the dangers we stand against: and he does not seek to profit from them.

The Faith of the Pantheon preserve us, hold us, and lift us. Amen.

Relationship Note on Felix

A man of faith, skill, intelligence and a good heart. It does not surprise me to find righteousness among the common man: but it does please me to see proof that they are the true children of the gods. It is for their welfare that the Templar stand vigilant.

A sense of humor in a weaponsmith was something of a surprise. I always pictured them as very serious.

Relationship Note on Felix

So one night many months ago I told a tall, strapping blacksmith about some of the traditions of my mother's people, primarily the courting customs. It was late, we were drinking at the Traders, it was funny to remember all these things I hadn't thought of in -years-.

When I told him about how a man might proclaim his designs to court a woman, I've never seen a man that burly -giggle- as he did, and he did giggle.

'No no,' I insisted. 'It's true, he has to chuck a spear at her home, at the doorframe, so all can see that he has staked his place in line. If there is one. Usually their isn't and it's just a formality, it's usually a way to proclaim to a village that a couple is bethrothed-'

And this morning, I woke to find a spear. In the door of my Atelier.

I realize my mistake. The traditions for the wedding day are -hilarious-.

Relationship Note on Felix

Very large, burly, and quite handsome! He is also a rather talented crafter of weapons. He even made a very beautiful pair of hairpins for me. All he asked is for me to provide the stones I wanted to apply. This man is very friendly, which is a trait not often found in a Thraxian man. It's refreshing to meet a man of Thrax that does not put on the macho mask of asshole.

Relationship Note on Felix

He's so damn cheerful. It's like all the grumpiness and gristle of every other Thraxian in Arx got turned inside out and he's the exact opposite. It's refreshingly amusing.

'Hey, a Thraxian smithy is going to install a ballista in our courtyard, we good?' That'd go over like a... ballista bolt to the eye.
