Do you have to be present at the Gala to win one of the cloaks through the raffle? No, you do not (but why wouldn't you be!)

As a few questions have been asked about the Gala Raffle, here are the answers:
Yes, you may buy tickets on behalf of another person, but the limit is still 100 tickets per person
No, you are not excluded if you have contributed to the Gala in some way (being on the Committee or donating prizes); the only people excluded are myself and Prince Tyrval (no matter how loudly he complains)
No, you may not attempt to seduce me for free tickets (you know who you are)
Yes, you may see these impressive cloaks before the Gala; Mistress Petal was good enough to host mock-ups in her shop (ooc-you can see them on Petal's wiki gallery)
Yes, you will still be able to buy tickets at the Gala itself, but for my sanity, I would appreciate pre-purchase
No, I'm not going to run away with the cloaks; yes, the thought has crossed my mind

The centerpiece of the Gala will undoubtedly be the raffle of the five spectacular cloaks, designed and crafted by the equally amazing Goodwoman Petal Penrose, and arranged for by the unparalleled Prince Tyrval Ael’Noctis!

There will be a mini social game running in the fortnight before The Gala!
Six wonderful Legends will be roaming the streets of Arx in the fortnight before The Gala, and each will possess a special token. Should you stumble upon one of these Legends in public, actively playing their role, you may attempt to convince them to part with their token with some impressive social feat! A wonderful story or song, a particularly clever joke or manipulation of words, perhaps a stare so fulminating their fingers weaken and the token just falls free! Each person who shows up to The Gala bearing one of the six Legendary tokens will receive a very special prize… their own THRONE, styled after the Legend they heroically won their token from!
Rules: Legends will only accept challenges when out in public as their Legend. No messengers to them about this game! If you send a messenger, you will be disqualified. One attempt per Legend, per day. Example: if you have attempted to convince Princess Sorrel one day, you may not try to convince her again until the next day, but you may try to convince any of the other Legends. One token per person. Tokens are non-transferable. Any questions may be directed to Lady Monique Greenmarch.

Relationship Note on Delilah
Rarely do I come across words on a page that move me to asking for a copy to keep for my private collection, which I assure you is much more limited and precious than nearly anything else I own. But I received something yesterday that I will cherish for so long as I live, and what may seem only words on a page to some is a moving tribute to the beauty of my home and family that recreates the Greenwood in my mind every time I read it. Which has been often, since it was so generously gifted to me.

2. Deadline for submissions: the day before The Gala
3. Open to all, nobles and commoners alike
4. Book may be a book that has already been published before, or may be a new work (new works encouraged), but must be contained in a single book
5. Authors will remain anonymous through the voting period, which will last for two weeks after The Gala, with the voters being comprised of anyone who would like to cast a vote for each category
6. Copies of all entries will be on sale at the Gilded Page during that period, with all funds received being donated to the Faith
7. Prizes may be received as a fabulous object (dawnstone or duskstone jewelry) or the winner may choose to take the equivalent in silver (50,000); there will be one winner for each category
Entries should be sent by messenger to Lady Monique Greenmarch, with no author noted on the cover or insides of the book to retain anonymity for voting purposes!

Relationship Note on Petal
Two of the cloaks for The Gala are ready. Is it wrong that I don't want to have the party anymore, just so I can keep these incredible works of art for myself? Goodwoman Petal has outdone herself. And that was just for the Umbra and the Seasilk. I can only IMAGINE what the Aeterna, Pyreweave and Steelsilk Cloaks will look like when she's finished them! This raffle is going to be the hardest thing I have ever done. Give /away/ shiny, priceless things???
