What a week it's been. I've been able to meet with family, friends, teach, and well....Congratulations to the best patron, Duke Malcolm Shepherd and his wife and my friend of all knowledge, Duchess Delilah. As promised, alcohol will be sent.

Went on a trip with Lord Wash, Lord Griffin, and Messere Acacia Culler. To Pearlspire. What did I learn? Who I would want by my side when in a storm and---I may need to get a certain captain an emergency box like Lord Ian's....Regardless, I did learn a lot watching Lord Wash, he was a great and patient teacher. I also feel like my Duchess General cousin would be bit proud for a moment, as I may have yelled even louder than her at some point. As well as uh--did some climbing.

I won a gauntlet race scholar. No not THAT one. There was no fucking ROPE! Otherwise the outcome may have been different. It was an enjoyable time, as I was able to train and drink at the same time. And the coral is beautiful as well...

Like most of the city, I have been busy preparing for what is to come. Training, making sure I'm prepared and packed with much needed supplies, going over with my aunt to see where I would fit best, to help her if I can. It's in the these moments where I always look back. Have I made my family proud? Am I doing everything I can? I like to think the answer is always yes. But there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

Relationship Note on Calista
Lycene pool party. It was nice to--Cool down. And see others do the same. It was also just as nice, if not more so, to see my cousin Duchess Calista. Well, by marriage. I suppose that matters to most. Kudos to her and Duchess Grazia for allowing others the chance to cool off from the hot sun. Which turned into a water fight of sorts I think. Which still turned into a great time. A welcome distraction from current times. Even if it was brief.

I remember a wild woman from years ago, who well. Is a far cry from the woman today. The woman I watched marry. Who stood proud, tall and ready to take on every obstacle. Im proud of you my friend. Very very proud.

After some time of not, I well--I have a patron again. I really feel like praying to all the Gods for the man, but I mean. He knows what's he's getting into really. And I really think it will go really well. That said, here's to expanding on our friendship Duke Malcolm.

This last month has truly been a---month. As I've been recovering from one thing to another, I've been thinking of our city. We're stronger together. This is reminded to me time and time again. With the latest---events, I am happy to see a Dominus. I have spoken to Dominus Aureth a couple times and while he isn't Orazio, I have no doubt he will do well in his new position. Because no two people can ever be alike.
