I've returned to the city proper, just in thyme.
Rosemary earlier than usual and cleared off my work-table, organized my space and my thoughts. I mint to send missives to anyone important -- anyone that was dear to me -- but the surprise was worth it. Seems that it was a pretty big dill.

I've waited - months, years - for a very specific style of gown that I was sure Dame Morrighan would never make again. However, she did, and with a thoughtfulness that was stunning -- she contacted me so that I could purchase it for Khanne. She looks ethereal in it. More importantly? Her entire face lit up with happiness. Some? Most? All? Of her clothes have been made by Dame Morrighan and she adores every piece for the care, the level of detail, and the elegance they are.

My preferred weapon to wield?
The quill, despite its size, has the enormous power to achieve what a sharp-edged blade cannot. The reach and range of a sword does cannot compare to a quill. The needlepoint tip of a quill can wound deeper. The potential to be more powerful than any show of physical force. More damage can be done with words than any weapon and the impacts can last far longer. Although, setting aside the metaphor, having a sharpened quill to be a companion to my knife and my scalpel would be an extraordinary addition.
