My cousin directed the Saik fleet of ships in an admirably. We had few losses and assisted in seeing a battle won. She is so skillful in various ways. I have watched her learn and grow into her role as Marquessa, a role she never expected to have.

No dying allowed. Igniseri needs Marquessa Quenia. While it is understandable needing to know just what sort of pirate problems Zeb and Ariella handle, when you go out to see for yourself, please be careful. When I saw Quenia fall, saw her get wounded....there are no words for the fear, concern and anger felt for my friend, my cousin, my ally.

Sometimes fatigue makes one miss important points they should have observed before. The gem given me by Quenia is beautiful. It is too beautiful to rush off and just have set into 'something'. It needs careful thought and planning and figuring out just when and where I plan to first wear it. To do less careful thought would be to lessen the impact and appreciation of the gift.
