Nothing against Derovai personally, but I always enjoyed your spin on current events in the Commoner's Bulletin when you were handling such updates. You have a since of dramatic timing that made even the most mundane event entertaining. While I appreciate the man who has taken the mantle to keep everyone informed, I would love it if you would consider every once in a while adding your unique flare.

To see my name and my efforts at the State of the Compact was a very nice surprise but I believe I should speak a little bit more about Melaeris; there is no thralldom in Astarrea. House Melaeris has raised banners against House Thrax and House Tyde, many times before, in the name of abolishment of thralldom and while I greatly appreciate the peace we have found with our lady Duchess of Tyde, Lady Margot and the highlord of Thrax, Victus, we are opponents with very polarizing views, but not all battles need to be bloody and not all battles need to take place in the field. To resolve your differences in court, under the judgement of your peers and in a civil matter is a honorable and efficient compromise. Praise be to Gloria but if history is a lesson in life, our best option and only option has to be through diplomacy with respect towards the laws of the land.

She told me to wear a helmet. And to avoid the clocktower. I will promise, for now, to avoid the clocktower. I think I will try and rig a device that will better allow me to study it from affair. (The word is crossed out, heavily, and corrected.) AFAR. I'll need to visit a glazier with my specific requirements. Or, I could just cut the glass myself. I certainly don't see anything going wrong with that.
