Relationship Note on Lou

Such a labor of love. Lou said she has been working on statues of her family who have deceased for almost a year.

Relationship Note on Lou

Someone famous or who thought they were said we are only as strong as our name.
It's an interesting concept being that we don't choose our name. Then we marry to another last one.
Does that mean that someone who doesn't use their name is weak then?
Not that I am thinking of anyone out there. I'm just musing my thoughts like my journal asks of me.
Musing. That's all.
Right Loucia, that's all, right?

She runs a good meeting. Looking forward to working with her on this project and with the society. Much to get ready for in the next few months.

Swans. All rags should be folded into swans.

Anything else, would be a missed opportunity.

Triangle, hands down. It is the more versatile of the two shapes. I would appreciate a message from my fellow triangle appreciator.

Relationship Note on Lou

I have a new partnership, scholar. That in Lou Grayson. I'm excited for it. For the adventure. The chance to prove myself further. Here's to the start of a wonderful partnership.

Relationship Note on Lou

I had the opportunity to see the most delightful statue during a chat with Princess Lou. It is a reminder, as she said, that there are good things in this world. Good things worth fighting for, and to remember when the grief and darkness might otherwise overwhelm us. My walk back to the villa was filled with wonder and hope, for which I'm immeasurably grateful.

Relationship Note on Lou

I'm thankful for having answered Princess Lou's posting a couple years ago when she was looking for a new protege. It was one of the best decisions I made, having gained not only a wonderful, and brilliant Patron, but a good friend. I can only hope that I shall continue to make her proud to have taken me own as her protege.

How utterly exciting to have the Pathfinder Lou Grayson as one's patron. Already Guido, the good courier of mine, has come back with a stack of papers higher than I sent him carrying. A path to adventure, at this stage in my life, awaits.

Relationship Note on Lou

Today was a wonderful day, and I can not express how truly lucky I feel to have found a patron in Princess Lou Grayson. I am excited and full of hope for the exciting adventures that are ahead of us.

Relationship Note on Lou

To a wonderful patron,

I wouldn't normally come to white journals to write something that might be better off in a letter. But you have offered a rural boy a glimpse into wonders when he might not ever have gone further than the largest town. Granted, I put my own feet on many paths but you opened paths that would've been closed.

I enjoyed our adventure, it was something I needed.

Relationship Note on Lou

It is not often that one gets to play junior expeditionary member to somewhere like I went to. It was extremely overwhelming and incredible. Awe-inspiring. I haven't stopped writing since I've gotten back and there may be a book sitting in Gilded Page about the place. Soon. Wait awhile, you avid biblophiles.

Learning about part of how Lady Sasha got her cure from Lou at the Explorers meeting was quite interesting. She tells stories so well, you almost feel a part of it, not just a listener.

Relationship Note on Lou

Good. You know. Don't let him go. Its not gotten any better. Not at all. Do not let him go. I used to have romantic notions of Eurus. Of the beautiful things that come from there, the goods and materials. The thrill of bartering with foreign people and pitting my skills to theirs. I was wrong. I was so wrong.

No. Not all of them are willing.

And some are but think they are doing the right thing, or the safe thing, or the best thing.

But any bargain with the Abyss is a bad one.

Relationship Note on Lou

Some likely were, some likely weren't. I doubt it much matters to him who comes willingly or not, who comes knowing the truth and who comes because they listened to his lies out of fear and anger at the Compact and a desire for protection or revenge. Certainly not what happens to them after. He's been haunting the wild lands and the Abandoned tribes for a very, very, very long time.

Relationship Note on Lou

In what comes as a great surprise to many people I'm sure, I don't trust easily.

I'd appreciate it if the scholar looking over my shoulder would stop chuckling to himself, yes, I can HEAR you. That's right, walk away. Thanks.

I entrusted Lou Grayson with something very important to me recently and she was not only able and willing to help me, but seemed genuinely interested in doing so. This world can be a brutal place, but it's a good feeling to know that are kind and generous people out there.
