Having made a number of feathered hats, degree of ostentatiousness is very much a personal determination. However, there is a size above which the feather becomes precarious, either lending to your hat flying off your head or the feather flopping around in the slightest breeze. I'm sure you'll decide with due care for those standing in flopping distance.

The struggle on when to share a truth that has been hidden is a difficult one. I can only share how I would look at the situation were it my own.
Is this truth one I know in confidence?
If because the truth is hidden a lie is being celebrated, then will this truth prevents people being deceived?
If there is no lie to be disproven with this truth, if this truth stands alone, what does sharing it serve? What does not sharing it serve?
Perhaps you've already asked yourself these questions. I trust in your wisdom to determine your own answers and weigh them fairly.

Relationship Note on Katarina
Some may hate the cold winter weather, but last night it had a charming effect of bringing together friends and strangers at the Vellichorian Academy for a fun game of Princess Katarina's mad but delightful mind. It was clever and silly and dramatic all at once, and I quite enjoyed myself and the company of those present. I look forward to more such games and gatherings, no matter the weather.

Fear is healthy. It keeps us alive. It tells us what we are doing is stupid, dangerous, or both.
The key is to face the fear. To stare it in the proverbial eye and not let it rule you. To beat it.
At the very least not let it stop you from acting one way or the other.
One cannot have bravery without fear.
If ever you wish to speak with me however Princess, I am always willing to listen.

I swear I was only taking air on the docks and not seeing which of the Princess ships would be a great fit for the fleet and would hold the most cargo. I swear to the pantheon I was not plotting on taking a ship out as an investment.
Well...not much I mean I do have thoughts and a wild imagination but they were only mere thoughts I promise. I did not question any guards or such and try to get them drunk...

This weekend I happened to be at the Ambassador Salon when the Salon philosophy group met. It was certainly worth giving up my usual game of Stones to entertain. Some of the questions were interesting, and the drunken philosophy game certainly made for an entertaining time.
Kudos to Princess Katarina for the evening. I may spend some more time with this lot in the future.
