I've received a gift from the good Sir Calaudrin Estardes. There's not a great deal to work with I'm told, but the Velvet Box has shined it up as well as they can.

My husband is 40 years of age now. I'll confess I assumed he was this age already a few years ago, which must mean he's well-prepared for it. I've gifted him a horse. He's a knight now, so he needs one, and i think she's a good and steady creature who will do well by him.

I am suppose to post a correction for sending toys to the Deputy Commander before he will let me see his new toy.
Does anyone else find this funny?

Deputy Commander Calaudrin asked me to stop sending him toys after... the second one, I think? But I did it anyway. But in my defense, he didn't tell me WHY he wanted me to stop. Just to stop. I really did think he needed toys for a while.
The rattle, in particular, was a good idea in my mind. I don't know his life!

To set the record straight, as Lady Kenna has misrepresented our exchange...
I asked her about the toys and she didn't have the kind that I needed. She started sending me some. I told her in no uncertain terms to stop, more than once. She continued to send them. My apartment isn't a toy store.
That said, no one would have known she was the lunatic if she didn't admit to it in her own journal.

I've decided that it really wasn't fair to be called a lunatic in a classified today.
See, Deputy Commander (Sir) Calaudrin Estardes wrote me this:
"Alright, Whitehawk. You know any toymakers? You seem like you'd know some."
Which, of course, I know that some people occasionally make toys. In an ATTEMPT TO BE HELPFUL I went out and found a few toys for the Deputy Commander. If he was asking me then he really must have been in need - I know how much he hates to be a bother to people.
Instead of being greatful though, he DUMPED THE TOYS in the city center. This was quite rude.
I have rescued the toys and will make sure they go to PROPER homes, or are sold for a good cause. Like getting more toys for children.
Really, it was all very logical and not at all a cause for name calling.
Weirdly though, I still like him. There's just something about a grumpy person that just... it makes sense.
