I am humbled and honored to have read the journals of those who attended the second Feast of the Senses, and it seems as if the things I envisioned people to take from this had come true and there is no greater pride for a hostess than to know their guests enjoyed themselves, created lasting memories, and learned something about themselves and others in the process.

My Beloved. Perhaps I never actually took those words seriously before finding mine. Perhaps I never thought I would find him at all. It is comforting to know that someone thinks of you the same way you think of them, as if everything else holds very little value beyond that.

Leona is a liar. I possess neither a mind nor wit. Clearly there has been an impostor running around pretending to be me through messengers, meetings, and general interactions with the public at large.

I decided to participate in Talen and Niccolo' chariot race. I found it to be quite entertaining and the excitement of the race outweighed the dangers. Though to be fair, I didnt break any bones or burn to death in the fires so perhaps I didn't take full advantage of everything. Next time!

My first wedding was so grand that I am still flustered by it six years later. Everything was prepared for me, ever detail figured out with little input, and it was beautifully done. The people of the Lyceum never do anything half ways, after all, and it showed in those little details. I will never forget that day, or how drastically it changed my life completely afterwards.
I did not think I was going to marry again, there was truly no reason to do so. I had fulfilled my duties in creating a stronger alliance between House Thrax and House Velenosa. With the death of my husband, no heirs were created, so that was another duty that had ended before it began and I was content in being an aunt to my sibling's children as much as his sibling's, being an assistance in creating a new generation of noble, honorable, people. I still hold this in my heart and can not wait to see each of them grow.
Now I am getting married again. There is certainly duty, one to the Velenosa House, though it is different this time. I am now handling those small details and like the last, in true Lyceum fashion. I can no longer wrap myself in being content that my duty is done and I need not do anything else, and any who know me know I have a horrible sense of responsibility and would never allow myself to do that.
Will my life change as drastically as it did before? Only time will tell. But I have a list of details that need to be seen to, and will meet any challenges ahead with poise and grace and the strength of the unwavering support of those I love.

I have learned much about the Queen lately. While it is not my heartbreaking story to share, I will say I did learn she likes tea. If you visit, bring tea.

I was truly honored to have been invited by my sister to witness such a momentous occasion not only for The King's Own as they sworn in another member of the One Hundred, but for Sir Corban who fulfilled a life long dream of his to see such day come to fruition.
These things create a lasting life long impression on someone after they witness it. Though. Not such that I decided to follow in Leona's footsteps.

Before the hour arrives, I thought it important to record my thoughts about the Nox'alfar Embassy opening.
First and foremost, I am honored to have been given the chance to see this project through to the end. It has been a labor of love, something I have thought nothing else of since it's inception. It has kept me awake, it has made me frustrated to no end, it has made me cry and laugh and find joys in the small nuances that is life. I have learned so much regarding the Nox'alfar, grown to appreciate their humor (cheers to whomever keeps moving all the furniture around after I have set up the main hall time and time again), and worried over causing insult that was never intentional either by being too much or far too little.
I can not express how honored I was to work with everyone who helped make the Embassy what it is. The city truly came together to sponsor the building and designing of each room and I can not be prouder of the never ending work and dedication seen in making this not only a building but a symbol of our continued alliance with the Nox'alfar.
In the end, it is what it is. I can do no more but open the doors to the Embassy and welcome the city within it's halls to see what countless hours have created. Then, a long needed vacation.

I have run into this man a few times, and each time I have had to leave shortly after greeting were made due to prior engagements. Then he decided to wander around the unopened Embassy. Tch. While the workers were not pleased due to safety concerns for the Lord, I can't fault him for his adventuring spirit. Alas, you must wait to see the spender of the Embassy when everyone else does and perhaps we'll even have longer than a moment.
