If the Laurent Manse Mystery Poet is reading this, I could use some verse for my upcoming wedding.

Relationship Note on Flavien

You know damn well I did not write that.

That you would put it in the whites, after we have already discussed this, while still implying that the work is my own is disrespectful and I do not appreciate it.

I expect a public apology forthwith, or this will not be over.

Relationship Note on Flavien

And it seems that it has been made even more awkward by Lord Flavian Laurent sharing the poem in the white journals, for all to see. It is a bit frustrating that such has been done, when clearly it was intended for me, and not Lord Flavien. And on top of it, it is not even in Lord Kedehern's writing.

Whoever has done this, please do not do so again.

I finally saw the craft you did on Messere Galatea's gown and it is quite wonderful.

As always the Whispering Woods is one of my go-to spots of the highest fashions and current trends.

Eagerly I will watch for when the brocade comes out.

In the past few months, we've seen the arrival of no less than five members of Thrax's extended family in Arx. The estate hasn't been this full of noise since Astrid came into the world. Not that I'm complaining, the new wing of the house provides a hell of a lot more room.

Although I do hope this isn't a sign that Maelstrom has started to sink into the sea.

It's amazing to see the crafters being inspired by Death in their works lately. I've spent quite a few silver on some of their works, myself. The Festival of Death is ongoing, with events spread out over the summer. I hope there'll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Not sure how many read my whites, but anyone who does who wants to just learn more about the Queen of Endings and Mother of new Beginnings, seek me out. Nothing I like talking about more!

Random poems from your "betrothed", that are not written in his hand writing, are a touch awkward to receive.

(This journal has several sploches on it where water hit the parchment)

Two days out of Arx and the sailing goes smoothly. The wind has been at our backs meaning the crew have been able to relax more instead of manning the oars. They, like me, are keen to see the City of Swords again and visit wives, husbands and children they left behind in Southport.

Most of them I have had the honour of serving with and leading for several years now and the crew of the galley Osprey have seen me go from Captain, to Commodore to Admiral of Southport. While on larger scale actions I often command from the flagship dromond Sea Hawk, I must confess it feels more comfortable being back on Osprey.

An albatross was sighted overhead this morning and we sighted the surfacing of a whale shortly after. Good omens for the more superstitious. For me? They are a reminder of how beautiful Mangata's realm truly is.

Grief comes in many colors and shapes, I feel it is always important to let those feeling it, to /feel/ it, in however way they are doing so. To remember that there is no one right way to feel it, or to express it, or to work through it. More importantly, we should remind those that we care for that are experiencing it that we are there for them. In whatever capacity they made need us. Whether it be a quiet companion to sit with, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to share a bottle or two with, or however else. I hope that those out there that are grieving now that they are not alone in it, and that if they should wish someone to listen, or to sit with them, or a shoulder to lean or cry, or both. There are people here for you.

A rogue poet skulking about the Laurent Manse unseen? How disturbing.

Who could it be and who will they strike next with the dread scourge of poetry?

Recreate your life, always. Remove the stones, plant rose bushes and make sweets. Begin again.

Having multiple dresses is convenient and nice, for every weather and occurance, but there shall always be a single dress or two that will be your favorite, high quality through fabric and seam, sparkling like no other, fitting you so well and hugging every curve.

Those shall remain in the back of the closet and in the depth of one's heart until their time to shine will come and they will shine brightly and be the envy of every one in the city.

Soon enough.

Congratulations on a fine second place at the tournament Countess. From our second meeting, the first you spoke of the bow, and seeing you deliver a fine arrow to the heart of a target so far away - I knew you would be first to jump at the opportunity to impress others with the bow.

That is to add to impressing them with your resolute determination, sense of duty and constant aim for betterment for your people.

A day away from the Fashion Show, perhaps even only half of one, and finishing touches are not made yet to what I hope will be a jacket to be remembered for the years.

It will be quite fine, I am sure. For you see, there is a back-up plan like always.

A belated thank you to those who came out to support my cast and crew, and of course me, at the wrap party, as well as all the gratitude of my overflowing heart to the Nightingale Gianna Whisper and my patrons, past and present, Prince Lorenzo and Princess Zara, for all you do for me.

I've been asked when and what in regards to the next play. I haven't written it yet, that I can tell you. I poured so much of my heart and energy into this one that I feel it may take some time to rest and reflect and replenish -- but inspiration is a capricious thing and she will come knocking whether one is ready for her or not.

If anyone would like a program of the play, do let me know, as I have some extras.

I am still recovering from Uncle Niccolo's death, though it is easier to mourn a man who has lived a full life than kin or friends who never had the opportunity. Still the world looks entirely different without him, he was such a fixture. From the time I was a little girl, Niccolo and Carlotta treated me as their own, and in their joy provided a beacon for what life could be like. In his sadness and loss, my Uncle did the same, for life can be like this too.

I saw the mention of my name in your whites my lady. I thank you again for your kind words and am honoured that you reached out to me. I shall remember what we discussed regarding the changes that are sweeping our Isles and your kind offer to help in the stormy times that are to come. I look forward to discussing the rocking of the very foundation of economics as we know it when the time comes. I think we said somewhere with ..bubbles.

A long journey over the Great Road from Fidante was without any real trouble but, at parts, you could feel it lace the wind's breath.

Some parts are busy in both directions so the goal of moving people has been met. It is what we do next that will determine the success.
