When a lethargic mood washes over me, I remind myself that I have the most wonderful family. That always brightens me up.

Relationship Note on Caith
I too have to express my delight at being involved in another joyful project. Many thanks to Princess Sabella and Prince Niklas and everyone who invested their efforts into making the plays so much fun. The opportunity to work with so many creative souls was a tremendous honour for me, and the children were adorable.

I agree completely. I believe that the best art is that which is an expression of the soul and the manifestation of the imagination. It saddens me when others fear to paint because they lack technical skill. Nobody should be afraid to create.

That was very beautiful and inspiring to read. You have a lovely way with words. I've experienced a number of these precious moments, but I'd never be able to put them to writing as well as you do.
I would also add that there can indeed be a certain unexpected perfection to supposed imperfection. An accidental smudge or drip of paint on canvas can add charm and character to the work rather than consigning it to ruin. A rain shower in spring that washes out a picnic, forcing everyone to huddle beneath a tangled rose arbour while they nibble at cakes and biscuits. The scars of a person who risked their life to save that of another, done without expectation of reward.
Of course, my experiences in such things are in no way unique to me. But it's very nice to think on them now and again.

I'm not sure I have any coherent or meaningful additions to make to the discussion regarding morality versus law. My talents lie with expressing words, ideas and concepts through the medium of painting rather than those spoken or written.
However, I believe my cousin Kenna is a good-hearted and kind woman who speaks and acts with a fiery conviction that comes from a deep empathy for others. I also believe, that in a situation where there's no possibility of finding an alternative solution to the ethical quandary at hand, it's obviously preferable not to let a starving child perish from the deprivation of food. I think that this was the crux of the debate, but perhaps I'm wrong. I'm often wrong. I wasn't present during the conversation, so it may well be the case.
With this in mind, I feel compelled to fortify my efforts in aiding the Silver Order in any way I can. And to my cousin Bethany, I suggest that it might be an excellent idea to get together and make some plans as to how we can use Mercier and Whitehawk resources to effect some additional positive change. It's not as though we don't have the raw materials to work with, after all.

I was reading the journal of a friend, and in doing so was required to seek out the context of his entries in order to gain a greater understanding of their meaning. This led me to your own journal by necessity, and so here I am.
Despite not knowing you, I'd like to take the liberty of saying that I thought your ruminations on humility were interesting to read and not at all irritating. They're quite mild as far as journal entries go in this day and age.
