For my beloved sister-in-law, who will have to inquire if certain people's hunting experiences differed from this:
They went to the woods to hunt the bears
Possibly scares, but certainly bears.
They rode through the trees to find the prey.
They rode all day but found no prey.
They set up their tents to sleep as gents
The servants raised tents to house the gents.
They sat with their booze around the fire
They piled it higher to drink by the fire
The very next day, they went away
Back to the city, they went to stay
As to the bears, they felt secure
Hunted no more, they were always secure.

With a few notable exceptions, Oathlanders aren't typically known for their vast nautical knowledge. I personally have never seen a boat once in my entire life. I've never stepped foot on one. In fact, I don't know the difference between boat and ship.
I was very glad to see Archduchess Jaenelle at the most recent Valardin dinner. I left feeling much more educated on the subject. I can confidently say that I could probably launch an entire fleet of these boats she described.

To save time from now on I will refer to Princess Jaenelle Velenosa as Jaenelenosa. If anyone has any other ideas to make life more efficient please let me know. Note that we should avoid portmanteaus that just make things confusing. Prince Mayson doesn't work. Princess Caithtrax saves time in writing, but not speech.

It's not hard to find a sense of pride in the accomplishments of a dear, close friend - particularly when that accomplishment is the size of FIFTEEN CARAVELS!! The Archduchess of Lenosia has proven herself yet again to be an amazing leader, expertly capable of bringing people together to accomplish the incredible.

Fifteen caravels is no small feat and the Archduchess Regent needs to be applauded for her efforts in organising the shipbuilding.

The Archduchess-Regent and I had a wonderful conversation recently. During that conversation it was discovered that she has a deep love and admiration for Oathlands line dancing. Or was it square dancing?

After growing accustomed to the tradition of the Mirror Masquerade, I had thought a year without the late Archduchess Eleyna would be a difficult one. And indeed, it was much different without the White Lily's presence or her husband attempting to wrestle me to the ground. I had worried for the entire week beforehand that it would be cold, stricken with grief or a sense of longing. I am happy to say that none of my concerns were anywhere close to true. A fool I was for even entertaining the idea.
My cousin was an excellent host. The night was filled with bittersweet memories, yet with the promise of something new as well. Even in tradition, one can see the small, intricate details become mutable. She has become such a diligent leader as time marched on. I'm proud to call her family and I'm looking forward all the more to next year.
(I solemnly swear not to bite through an eel and contaminate a prize pool next time.)

The Archduchess Regent and Crown Minister of Infrastructure has worked hard to ensure that the crafters of the compact are able to ply their trade and ensure that their livelihood is never threatened under her watch. How glad I am that the Grand Duchess has taken an interest in our work to honor the Lord Commander Dayne. The Lord Sistermander (Emeritus) may have been a jocular title that the King bestowed upon her, but the Grand Duchess is a fast ally of the King's Own and we are fortunate to have her (however informal) patronage.
