I hope this isn't too forward of me considering we have never met in person. As Guildmaster of the Apothecary College I like follow the Whites in search of alchemical achievements to honor at the college. I had the pleasure of sparring with scout Rowenova this evening. I'm not sure how we've never done that before, but---my body will be sore for days. And I would certainly do this with her again. And again. And again. Each time, learning something new. It was fun, and I can't wait to do it again.

With my husband being gone (permanently? temporarily? who is to say?), I feel lucky to have such good friends. Miss Rowenova brought me the most delicious food today. We had a good talk. She is wise beyond her years; sometimes I do forget that Rowenova is very close to my age. The food was good, but her hugs were better. I'm lucky to have someone I can share my secrets with and they will be kept without judgment; frankly, I am lucky to have a few friends like that. Thank you all.

I met Rowenova, a Scout from the North, after returning to Arx after time spent in the field. I have seldom met anyone as open, welcoming, and effusive. After an evening of talk and a shared table with others at the Trader's Tavern, she has proclaimed I am her favorite member of my order. As a rule, we're not really crowd-pleasers, so that was refreshing... as was the bottle of apricot brandy she sent along for Dale and I to enjoy. This lucky guess of hers (apricots are my favorite) has endeared her greatly.

I shall shovel snow around clinics and apothecaries again this year.
Last year Scout Rowenova inspired me to shovel snow from the apothecary in her neighborhood all the way to the Trader's Tavern. We were able to stir up the enthusiasm of the neighborhood kids to assist, though we did get some pummeling with snowballs from that font.
Anyway...
The times when you need to go the apothecary are not the times to go outside and see that you are snowed in.
