Busy week since my return.
From birthday parties to beach parties to grand opening parties to liquor tasting parties, my social calendar has been packed. Though I do wish people would stop putting alcohol in front of me.
And it doesn't look likely to clear up any time soon. Just as I finish the first draft of my followup to The Playwrights, I get some interested parties looking to put my skills to work elsewhere. And on top of that there are still too many people I need to catch up with. Archlector Wylla. My sister. My best friend, Master Bastien. And my newest best friend, Princess Tikva, who might be trying to coordinate outfits for the wedding? Just too many people I need to see! And new friends as well, based on the journal entries my assistant kept track of during my time abroad.
But most important is that I'm finally back with my Sabella. The color and light in my life that makes it worth living. The reason for waking up in the morning. Being away from her for so damned long was ruinous to me, and I shall have to endeavor that for the rest of my life I spend as little time away from her as possible. The wedding cannot come fast enough. I'm even getting used to the idea of being Prince Niklas Grayson. As long as it means I'm with her.

And now that I'm back from Stormward I've jumped into wedding planning with Sabella with both feet.

People are upset and sharing their opinions and now I wish I'd seen the duel so I could share my opinion too!
Since I only do things to be liked, I will share some possible opinions and I'd ask that everyone reading choose the one that most aligns with them:
It was a bad thing.
It was a good thing!
I am shocked and offended.
I am surprised and delighted!
People need to wear more clothes.
People need to wear way less clothes!
People are wearing the proper amount of clothes currently, but that could change in the near future.
Let's go get something alcoholic in our bellies.

Spread figs? That doesn't even make sense.
You use it to spread the runny cheese, then you add the figs and pour on the honey.
If you have a proper blue cheese you can pair that was honey and some walnuts.
Both go excellently with the Ostrian brandy I wisely thought to bring along.
Next time do feel free to ask for a crostini or two. I had plenty of the cured ham I was eating left over.

I would add more lyrics to the song, Sir Bayweather, but today I asked a scholar how many journal entries I had done this week. He said he would have to check on that for me and asked for my name. When I told him he looked at me with a haunted gaze, eyes unfocused and lips quivering, and he whispered, "Enough. You have done... enough."
I took that as a sign that it may be time for me to stop journaling for a while, lest Archscholar Bianca pay me a visit to let me know that while it is important to know the thoughts of the public, not every ridiculous thought that runs through a person's head necessarily needs to be put to parchment.
Then again, I do need to post about finding Scholar Oswyn a date. Yes, Oswyn, write that down. We can talk about it later. This needs to be published immediately.
