I haven't seen my brother Luca in ages. I hope he's having fun .. I still think of him, and my heart hurts a little that he's not around, but so long as he is happy, I suppose that is all I can ask.

I first saw him when he pranced onto a battlefield, nimbly stepping around the bodies of fallen defenders of Arx, and pouted because the enemies were dead and he didn't get to play with his sword. I had business to handle, so I dealt with that, only to see him telling the father of one of the fallen that everything would be okay. Without respect for the sacrifice of the fallen, nor respect for the grief of those left behind, he is the chaff of the city. I'll hope for a strong breeze soon.

A while after planting a tree I had a spar with Prince Luca, bare handed.
His Highness is hard to hit and hits hard and I think I am not leaving the house for days on account of not seeing out one eye. Thought I had the best of him for a while but he just would not go down as you'd expect he ought to. That and also I think I hit the fence a couple of times trying to hit him. I can't remember what happened really. It hurts to think so I'll stop now thank you.

Luca Velenosa, now Grayson, is an old friend. We had something of a rivalry as younger men - a friendly one - but I've been consistently unable to defeat him in a spar. I won't even say something like 'perhaps one day' because I doubt that day is going to come any time soon. He has recently married Princess Reese Grayson and gone to join that family. I don't think it will change much as far as our friendship is concerned.

Ribbons' Vows to Prince Nimble
I, Princess Reese Grayson of all things pink and ribboned, do take Prince Luca, the super extra nimble, to be my husband for as long as we both shall live.
I vow to protect my prince to best of my ability whenever he finds himself in danger, even if that danger is from himself, because sometimes (hopefully not often) it will be. I also promise to let him protect me, even though I sometimes get full of myself and would rather do the protecting.
I promise to never cage Luca or try to own him, but instead to try to support him and be at his side when he wishes me there.
I will do my best to encourage my Prince Nimble not to drink too much, wallow in despair or do stupid things, encourage rather than demand.
I vow not to let Luca's presence, become a distraction that will keep me from aiding compact, my family or innocents who cannot defend themselves. Instead, I will let my love for his Luca-ness inspire me to better serve, and to better try to work as a team.
I will share Luca with my family, as in marrying me he becomes one with the Graysons. I vow to do my best to aid and respect his family, the Velenosa, as we are now joined.
I will care for Luca as the man he is today and also for the man that he can and will be. I join with him today with faith, hope and a strong belief in Luca the champion of Compact with the capacity to do much good and also with faith and hope in my ability to be a positive partner with and for him.

Luca took a liking to me for reasons I'll never really understand, but I like him as well. We have very little in common on most days, but his guidance in the art of not being where people who don't like us are aiming has probably saved my life several times over. I've even managed to save his life, though that was just the right place at the right time. I'd say he is a good man but he'll likely read this, and might take offense. I am fortunate to know you, Frog Prince.

The kid has grown up so much. I faced him in a one on one match in the Southport training area and to my great surprise, I could not land a single hit on the man. Too agile. I was mightily impressed with him.
I used to be able to defeat him in a match...but then I left. I return to find out he is a monster at combat, a technique that I don't recognize.
I've seen him fight now, I know how he fights. Perhaps next time will be different.
I'm proud of the warrior he's become.
