Life has finally settled again. Sort of. I was able to distract myself from the pressing concerns in the Crownlands with training for the Grand Melee, but now its all rearing up again. I am not worried about Grayson's ability to handle it at all. There are a great many people all working very hard.

Relationship Note on Alarissa
Princess Alarissa Thrax.
A few things seemed to be said. Again. Concerning the recent announcements and charitable movements that Thrax is making. I am not a man to belabor my own credit, but I won't let someone's own achievements be overshadowed because of current events. The Princess-Consort has been making a concerted effort for years to free thralls while working within the already established system that held them in bondage. I am happy to hear word out of Thrax concerning thralldom. She deserves to be remembered as more than just a footnote in all of this.

House Leary had a wonderful woman from their House come to live with them in Arx. I met Lady Ilmia Leary several times growing up, and she never failed to make an impression upon me. She is perhaps too book smart for me to mesh with very well though.
