We've known each other since the day after arrived in Arx. She's grown from being just a charming hostess at the Hart to someone I love spending time with, sharing gossip, watching the antics of others and relaxing or unwinding after a busy day together.

I had a lovely dance with Princess Valencia at the little party I put together - of which I am so glad she decided to attend. I confess we have not really spent much time together before, but every time I have been in her presence, she has always been so gracious and so delightful. It is no wonder anyone who knows her has nothing but nice things to say. I shall have to visit her Hart more often.

More and more I find myself drawn into the heat that builds between us. The longing looks, the way she so easily walks with me, arm in mine so that we may discuss the daily happenings and consider what we will be doing for the rest of the evening. Her hound, my fox, a hunt that will be told a thousand different ways and only the true one is the one we would make together.

She is working to alleviate the suffering of refugees and I have agreed to help her by writing home for aid and for speaking to those merchants with whom I hold sway in Arx. A transplanted Velenosa turned Redrain Princess turned widow turned gaming-house owner and roving socialite. We've had a few chance run-ins at her place of business and she strikes me as an interesting sort... though she is still *very* southern, whatever her fealty. Her and her countrywomen have a way about them, and there is never any hiding it. Not that they hide, so much as revel.
