Went to the Stahlben reception the other evening. It was a very welcoming event with plenty of alcohol and food. I think the young Countess will do just fine in her new home and with her new role.

I've gotten good at this knot tying. I think our recruits should worry a bit as I may come up with new training ideas or punishments. Learning to sail is has been enjoyable.

Three months. I have been in the city for three months. I have felt myself changing. Not a terrible change, but I have learned more than I thought I would. I came here hoping to prove myself to my family, to hope I have made them proud. In doing so, I think I had to prove something to someone else....me.

I do feel a swell pride when I watch those I care about cross that line...you know that line. The one of growth. Of responsibility. It's like watching one's child go off on their own...I think. If I had children. I'm sure that's what my parents felt watching Martino. Assuming he's grown.

There is now a new baby Malvici. A girl. That I got to watch be born. This was entirely different than the normal blood and injuries and and things I see in battles or sicknesses I've overseen. This was...fascinatingly disgusting and beautiful. Something that beautiful could come from all---that. Being Malvici, I am positive her bones wont break or anything as I'm sure I might drop her or accidentally squeeze her and Finn might like her too much.

Dear Brother,
If telling yourself makes you feel better about things, then so be it. However just remember, he's a grown man and he certainly doesn't blush when he answers to you! I should send him some cookies or write him a nice letter. I feel it is a thoughtful idea as he has to work for you on a day to day basis. I'm sure when I come around, the view is much nicer......

Brother-You'll do just fine. I mean, I turned out just fine. At least, between you and Martino. I think....Anyway, you'll be a great dad, so don't stress too much. Just hand the baby over to Johannas if you need to train or anything, he'll need the practice when triplets come.
