If you happen to receive a missive with a request for you to choose three words for me, it's not for nefarious purposes. I'm not sure why that needs be said, but have no fear in that regard. The words are for a work I have in mind, and I'll need quite a few of them. If you happen to read this and would like to volunteer three words, you're more than welcome to do so. They can be any three. They can be off the top of your head, or carefully considered, whatever feels most right to you.

Well, I've certainly now spent a considerable amount of time in quiet contemplation and prayer. I plan to soon make myself more available day to day, and will be glad to reply to any missive sent seeking counsel without undue delay.

Relationship Note on Hana
If anyone needs anything from the Shrine of Jayus for the next few days, please seek out my First Disciple. I'll need some time for contemplation and prayer, and I won't be much good at talking to people for a few days. Thank you for your understanding! Hana is a very competent First Disciple and has my trust in all matters.

Hello, Officer Sparte (again)!
I've seen your Whites. I think perhaps Wilhelm has the wrong idea of the matter entirely. But I'll move the box to be an offering. I don't think it would be very practical in the wall, but it's very pretty. It's a small cigarillo tin, so no, there are no jewels in it, and I don't think there ever were.
I was sent a message asking why I asked your opinion rather than making an executive decision on my own, so I'll let you know my thoughts on that too. I think that, since the wall was your inspiration, it's only right to ask your opinion. I mean, I don't want to stifle that inspiration, and it seems to me that whatever sight you dreamed of when you saw this wall full of everyone's painted stones in offering should be nourished. It's only right. That doesn't mean I have to take your opinion unless I agree with it, though, which is the part I think people miss about inquiries like that.
To Lady Monique, who left that cigarillo tin: I'm afraid it will have to be moved, but I'll give it an honorable place within the Shrine. Maybe you might want to paint a rock echoing the design of the tin? Send me a message and let me know, and I'll gladly have paint ready. We've gotten a good deal of rocks so far, but none from people who were at the talk about rocks, so if you'd like to be the first -- were you at the talk? -- that would be kind of you.

I'd send you a message, but it's probably clearer for the Compact at large if I make it visible in my Whites and follow up with a proclamation of some sort: are things besides stones acceptable offerings for the wall at the Shrine of Jayus? I received a lovely tin from a hopefully new friend. I'm not sure if it can be used to build anything, but it was sincerely offered, so I hope we can make some use of it.

Speaking of which, I announced your idea at the destruction of the Shrine of Jayus! I hope people have contacted you regarding it. For those of you who were not there, Sparte had the wonderful idea of people dedicating building materials at the Shrine to Jayus, if they could not themselves build it. Please contact him or me and we'll keep track of the dedications as the new year progresses.

I'm sorry it was such a short tour! But that instrument -- the chittarone, did you say it was called? -- sounded lovely! I think it's probably lovelier with more instruments, because it makes such deep notes, but it's still quite lovely.
I've spoken with Lady Iseulet about the Empyrean potentially providing services for the destruction of the Shrine and the festival around it, so she might get in touch with you! And I'm so happy that the Whisper House and the Empyrean are working together, given that you told me those instruments were donated by Lumen Whisper. Clearly, people needn't worry about any cutthroat rivalries between the two organizations.

That was such a lovely event last night! It was very exciting. I don't do social events terribly well, but at least you were asking questions, and I could answer. I'm not sure all my answers were good ones, but at least I didn't have to try to come up with conversation out of nowhere.
I hope you will return the honor and send a delegation from the Empyrean (delegation is a fair word, isn't it?) to the destruction of the Shrine of Jayus. So too do I hope Whisper House will send people too. And wine. If we can have people stage-managing the wine and the refreshments, that would be helpful. I'm not very good at that sort of thing.

Thank you so much to Princesses Alis and Reese for their kind words. Really, though, I only volunteered to look at all the artwork in the jewelry and paintings and whatnot. It's all right to admit that, isn't it?

Your music was lovely at the painting festival too, if you didn't know! There will be a concert to inspire both those marching to war and those staying here to provide in a matter of days. The Shrine of Jayus would be honored if you -- and any other musical members of the public -- would join us to play. The themes of the music should be in keeping with the spirit of the troops: rousing, invigorating, encouraging.

I am so happy everyone had such a good time at the painting exhibition, and all tried their best! There was some excellent creativity in the room. Remember, if you would like to offer your works to Jayus, please send a messenger to the Shrine, and we will gladly commemorate your work.
I have spoken to Nathan to keep a better eye on the people who are in charge of the wine. Next time we might even have some for people to take home! If you still need a prayer book, you are more than welcome to stop in the shrine and take one.
My thanks to all the help I received in setting up the event: Sir Tovell and Master Caspian, you did an excellent job with the tarp. Also, to my those who helped with the event itself: Mistress Hana and Master Fortunato, you both were a credit as well. Baroness Lucita, you had lovely music for us as well. Jayus smiles upon all of you for your assistance!

I hope everyone will come to the painting event at the Shrine of Jayus soon! We are working hard to make it a lovely time for all, and have all manner of colors with which you might share your feelings and passions on canvas. If you need paint and canvas, it will be provided. If you would like to bring your own, please feel free to. If you would like to share some art you've already made -- painting, sculpture, drawings, dance, music -- please feel more than welcome to come and share.
We will have musicians there to provide some respite for the event, but I've already asked them not to play too loudly. After all, nobody likes having their expression of creativity drowned out by another's expression. Wine will also be provided. Please don't wear your best clothes or anything else you don't want to stain! You are liable to get paint on such things, and the Shrine cannot refund any costs for laundering those clothes. (That was a joke. I hope it worked!)
Anyone who comes looking to critique another's work will have wine dumped on their heads, as I have already expressed to several people. Jayus may call to some people more than others to express themselves in craft, but he calls to all in different ways, and to critique another's work is simply to stifle any potential creativity. It is a disservice to Jayus, and will be most unwelcome at this event.
