It's actually pretty simple! You just work your way from the outside towards your plate in an alternating even-numbered pattern between courses with the exception of palate cleansers, certain savory pies, or sudden need to throw a utensil at a sibling from across the room. We used to have a book on the subject! I'd lend it to you were it not gruesomely destroyed.

It feels as though we are finally making up for having spent the balance of our formative years apart. My sister has magnanimously and gener-ificently elected to bring to close a personal history of mine that vaguely vexes me still. Basically, every time I've ever tripped is probably because I'm worried about this most likely! I should stop riling new household staff into being afraid of her so -err- best not stop all at once.

In preparing for the many-days journey northward to Aviaron, I find myself looking more forward to the mountaineering our way gradually upward than the destination. I long to be surrounded by a sea of treetops and quietude rather than city walls and smells. While I'm sure the Whisper Palace is the pinnacle of primp and civility, our small retreat there will stand side-by-side in my heart with the simple fact that the air in the high Northlands is finally thin enough for my homesick lungs. I can call the mountain home now on account of having been there nearly almost more than twice!

In just a few short weeks, we will have been wed a full year. Our affections are slow-growing but I'd venture to declare a comfortable, more-than-tolerable kind of friendship to have taken shape. Although the newness of her noblesse betrays us at the most awkward of times most particularly at fancy parties, it honors me to see how much her ladyship's companionship and connections have benefitted my sister in her ambitions. More than that, it's refreshing to have a perspective not our own! A generosity of spirit to dilute us where we might be sharper tooth't.

When Marquis Mydas, Prince Ettore, etc. vacated the Acheron residence, he left behind a little-known mirror-lined room located just off of his former quarters. With those private rooms transformed into the offices of the Marquessa, the 'Shrine of Mirrors' remains shamefully neglected. Personal beliefs and hesitations aside, it's a comfort that Lord Alessandro has so graciously shown an interest in remedying this for us.
