Description: Falling on the shorter side, and just a little plump, this curvy maid has tousled auburn curls that fall somewhere near the middle of her back, though they tend to be twisted into some laissez faire hairstyle with strands that consistently fall to frame her face and dust her shoulders. Thanks to time spent outdoors, her skin holds a slight tan, and her pert nose and cheeks are dashed with freckles. Full lips are tinted a natural pink that's deepened by a habitual nibbling of the lower, and may draw the eye, but her dark brown eyes are distinctly her finest feature; soft and sweet, and framed by thick lashes they hold a glint of true intelligence within.

Personality: Sweet, shy, and prone to bonding closely with a select few, Giselle will likely never be the type to frequent mass gatherings and big social events. She's keen-eyed and intelligent; doing her best to avoid the false niceties of society and focus on those who appreciate the sweet warmth of her own personality. Still, though most of her witty observations are limited to her private thoughts, she does have a temper and has been known to hold a grudge.

Background: Giselle's father was a soldier, gone more often than he was home, and though it broke her mother's heart, it was no real surprise that he died when she was eight, leaving her with the memory of strength and gentleness, battle-field stories, and random snippets of advice. Raised by her mother who was a herbalist and avid gardener, Giselle learned the many uses of plants, especially the curative and culinary aspects. However, the lass was drawn far more to the scent and color, the artistic flair that plants can bring to dyes, perfumes, and decor. She apprenticed to an apothecary, learning the skills that she fancied most, as well as the more practical ones necessary to earning a living. Thanks to recent events, she's made her way into the city, to see if she can't learn a little more and refine her skills, making a name for herself in the meantime.
