Duty is important to all, but it must be tempered with wisdom and Faith. It is easy to follow rote restrictions and point to them saying that this is how it must be done for here it is written. Every situation is different. Every person is different. We must be able to perform our duties with honor and be true to our ideals. It is not impossible to bring all these ideas together.
It is just difficult at first, until one gets used to it.
