I'm real glad me and Kenna got a chance to just chat. Catching up with my Partner is one of my favorite things to do. Even when I'm having to threaten to kick her arse for something or the other.

I love my husband. I really, truly do. But next time he gets a wild hair to send in a bunch of petitions... there's gonna be words. Maybe more than words. Kicking his arse when he needs it is in my wedding vows, thanks to High Lord Victus!

Never been to an assembly before. Not sure if they're all like that, but if so, then that was kinda amazing and more than a little overwhelming.
And the commoner benches were the place to be this time, at least. Got to talk to good friends and family. Got to eat candy. Got to meet a legend. Got to see another legend. Got to see another person I've met be raised up to a queen in the span of a few minutes. And to top it all off, the visitors were real interesting too. Though that guy that kept dropping black sand and giving the Inquisitors fits at sweeping it all up was pretty creepy.
Wouldn't have missed it, cause it was quite the show. But for all that, nothing there really changed my mind on things.

I dunno if I'm happy for Talen or mad at him. He's been my patron for a long damned time, but we've been friends a lot longer. I do know that he and the Archduchess deserve their rest. And some old title isn't gonna change the respect that I have for them both. I hope they both are very happy.
I'll miss seeing both of them, real bad, though. Hope they visit sometime.

Got to see one of my very best friends get married today. I'm real happy for Jyri and Elora. It was real nice and Raavas has a Mom to care for him. I think seeing his face made me happier than anything else. I love that boy.
It's a shame that folks got their knickers in a twist over it. Still, I think they'll make each other real happy and honor their vows. In the end, that's what matters, as far as I'm concerned.
Might be nice, though, if people would stop trying to find so many reasons to fight and bicker and hate, and find reasons to get along instead. I know a lot of folks say that's a pipe dream, but I'm gonna keep on hoping. Copper's message hasn't faded in my book.
So, here's to hoping for a real long and happy future for you two!

It's been a frustrating day. There's a reason that I don't let myself lose my temper often. Reckon this is just going to reinforce that for me. I'm just glad it's all settled.

I gotta say, Princess Sorrel did a real good job. I liked her song and found it interesting. Now I got even more stuff that I want to learn about. There's not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do these days!
Mostly I wanted to thank her though for being so willing to share and teach. It was real refreshing!

Well, I reckon my name's in the running for the Commoner's Council, too. Been seeing a few folks I know saying they're running to. It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
I reckon I've been fighting to protect the Boroughs for a long time now, especially the Lowers. I've lived there all my life and there's still an awful lot of folks down there that are forgotten and need help. This would just be a new way of doing that.
Gotta admit that I hadn't really thought about doing it. I'm no politician, but I've had a few ask. So I'll give it a go if folks want me to do it. At the very least, I'm real happy to see it happening and I hope it helps. Good luck to all those trying for it!
