Relationship Note on Aurelian
This is a difficult entry to write, but I feel that I owe it to the world to do so while my feelings are still raw.
When a sweet and loving man turned out to be anything but, my heart split in two. It still doesn't seem real, like all of this is one horribly distasteful joke. I'm still having trouble believing it. Is our Aurelian capable of doing such a thing?
How?
Yet the proof is irrefutable and your name, the one that you stole, is so difficult to speak. My gratitude goes to those who have protected Quenia and the rest of my Igniseri family. Thank you so so much. My broken heart goes out to you, Quenia, as well as the all the others who were close to him.
And to the Aurelian that I knew, I'm sorry that it ended this way. I have a million things I wish to say but not a single word is easy to mark down.

Relationship Note on Percephon
Tygra is safe and sound in Lord Percephon (Halfshav!)'s care now. I took Tygra over to the House of Questions for the compulsory rabbit registration and he got a cute little pink ribbon around his collar. I don't know if this marks him as Inquisition approved or not, but I think it makes him look very dapper overall. I can only imagine that he'll be confused in his new home, but I have made sure to leave his hutch exactly as Eirlys has left it. Lord Percephon will probably spoil the little bun to bits, but I'll be sure to stop by occasionally to make sure that he is not /too/ spoiled.

Nobody is calling into question Prince Aiden's wonderful success at Stormwall.
Nobody is suggesting that Prince Ainsley didn't defend the shaman.
Nobody is complaining that Prince Ainsley has been helping out at Stormwall.
Nobody is acting jealous.
Nobody even asked "what if..?"
While it's become apparent that many of you have studied the art of misdirection and deflection to a most impressive degree, the statement and the entirety of my previous journal entry remain untouched. I also think it goes without saying that I am disappointed that two of you have not only put words into my mouth but unabashedly slighted me.

What you failed to mention is that this decision was made near immediately before the battle of Stormwall. Many days, weeks, and months passed where Prince Aiden Grayson spent his time preparing to fight. Similarily, you spent your time preparing to lead, and Princess Marian Redrain spent her time preparing you to lead.
It is without a doubt that Prince Aiden Grayson led the Grayson forces exceptionally well, and you had fought that fearsome foe without hesitation.
I can also understand that plans change, especially in war. However, there were plenty of powerful warriors who were with us at Stormwall. Plenty of people who spent those days, weeks, and months practicing with their blades. Plenty of people whom the Gods smile down on. Plenty of people who have made a living hunting the abyss. Plenty of people who have made a living protecting high value targets.
My gratitude for those who assisted us at Stormwall runs deep. I am truly grateful for your brother's ability to improvise so well.
