It was such a tremendous honor to take third place at the charity tournament organized by the Eurusi Ambassador and held at the Golden Heart.
Blessed Porter was a tremendous opponent and only the most minute bit of skill separated us. And Lord Ian has much to be proud of in his title.
Thanks so much to the organizers and all who cheered me on. And to Lady Monique for entering me without my knowledge. I could have not done it without her.

Relationship Note on Keely
I owe so very, very much to Princess Keely Grayson. The King's Own wished very much to salute the end of Autumn and celebrate with the end of things, in honor of Sir Vigil Telmar and his sacrifices for our Order.
She arranged not just the Whisper ballroom for the occasion, as well as the players and the drinks and foods, but also put together a lovely game of musical chairs that was enjoyed by all.
Party planning is not my skill in the slightest. I am so very glad that it is hers. The King's Own is stronger for her efforts.

Whisper Cesare, Princess Keely, and Lord Mattheu did a wonderful job teaching new dances. I learned a great deal. And I had the tremendous pleasure of co-teaching the Beaver Waltz with Princess Keely.
I am not the most-graceful dancer, but I get by. And that is enough.

Relationship Note on Cesare
I cannot thank Whisper Cesare enough for helping with my lines for the Assembly of Peers. I am not a natural orator outside of drills and military assemblies, and his kind guidance allowed me to have the confidence I needed to present before the Assembly.

Relationship Note on Percephon
My cousin Percephon is gone from the world, and the Dream is poorer for it. A gentle soul and a dedicated scholar, he was my sounding board in times of greatest need. I hope I provided something similar for him, though I am neither as smart nor as clever as he was. Most of all, he was my family, and he was my friend, and my heart is heavy for his absence.
Great Queen of Beginnings and Endings, I pray that You welcome the unique and irreplaceable soul of Percephon Halfshav to your Wheel. May he, when it pleases You, return to us, and, if it does not, that he spend the rest of his days in Elysium surrounded by all the books that one man can ask for.
For me, I shall add a symbol of his glasses to my sash, in honor of his service rendered to Vellichor. As Silver's Arx endures, I will remember him.

What a wonderful joust that Duke Cristoph held together with Legate Cassandra and the High Lord Alis the other day. The jousters were in fine form, and it was a hard fought battle that ultimately led to Lady Adalyn's brilliant victory.
Rosie was in perfect form as one might imagine, and well-earned the apple that was her reward after. And although I wish I had advanced further than the second round, I can only say fine things about Dame Bree who unhorsed me. Her aim was true and strong, and mine, though it would have likely struck down any other rider in the contest, was not enough in the moment. I raise my lance to her skill.

It was a tremendous honor to recognize the Lord Commander Dayne Valardin in the Hall of Heroes last night, revealing his statue and plaque. We were treated to a remembrance from his ancestral family, the Valardin. And even the Nox'alfar delegation spoke to remember the knight of great honor.
