Since the quill Sister Rosalie sent to me is both prettier and smoother than the one I lost, I feel very confident in this journal entry. Look at the smooth lines! My letters look much less like stumbling old men now. I'm almost happy I lost that old quill!

Relationship Note on Rosalie
I am so remarkably honored to have helped see Sister Rosalie Redtyde join our ranks. She was a boon as a Disciple of Vellichor; she will be a greater boon still as a fellow Godsworn.
And on a personal level, I am simply proud to see how far she has come -- and to know how far she can go still.
We do not always have control over the great changes in our lives, and even when we do, taking that first step can be a truly difficult thing. But still, no matter how that change comes about, I believe what is truly important is that we face it with eyes open -- and Sister Rosalie has undoubtedly done that.
And on a personal level, I am simply proud to see how far she has come -- and to know how far she can go still.

Indeed - I don't disagree. It seems that some accommodation is there to provide Bliss with a sword - for the history and meaning of the sword are not important to Bliss I do not think - in place of that. Just as if someone were to pay a 10000 silver bill with a prized ring they had no place to offer, you might ask for the ring back, but offer the 10,000 silver to ensure the person is whole.
It is regrettable that we need to even hear about it - I cannot believe it is beyond Telmar and Bliss to solve this. Both are honourable, after all.

I respect Marquis Geraint Blackwood's right to select his own heir. And there are protocols for family members if they do not agree with his decision. However, I do not believe the current leadership of House Blackwood should suffer because of a decision made by a man who has rejoined the Wheel. I will support House Blackwood in the aftermath of Marquis Geraint's death to organize and protect their people in a time of conflict.
My earlier white was addressing my personal feelings around what makes a good leader. My belief is that a good leader should honor the Faith. Be loyal vassals to the Crown and Compact. Should protect their people, fostering the growth of their lands. A circumstance of birth should never mean more than one's deeds. It is dangerous to place a specific measure towards worthiness least we become trapped by such a measure. My reference to my life was to show how hard it is to judge someone's worthiness when they are just starting their journey.
Only time will tell. In the end, I leave such judgement to Limerance.

I can do little else but speak remarkably highly about Lady Rosalie Redtyde and her ability to take burdens off my shoulders. The lady has been terribly kind in doing House Champagne the honour and providing her time in a number of ways, but not least of all in arranging our events, both internal and external. I look forward to all dinners and extravaganzas under her purview.

Relationship Note on Rosalie
My niece is so like me, in so many ways, despite a separate upbringing nearly from the time she was born, with only a portrait of myself (and the rest of the family) for company while growing up surrounded by others. She is smart, that goes without saying, and...Well, I will not sound my own horn, but I see so much of myself in her, already doing so well and tempered by her experiences already. I see her and see a young me.
She will not have to live as I did. I forbid it. She has suffered too much, seen too much already. I will build a life for her, a rich life full of family and love and life, and I will ensure a future for her, no matter the cost. She will live the life she deserves.
