While it is true that the Sentinel is associated with justice, the trial by combat, as an institution, is solely a rite of the Lady Gloria. While it is tempting to associate the rite with the Sentinel, the ancient sources we have make it incontrovertibly clear that it is a creation unique to the disciples of the Lady of Valour. I have no qualifications in the realm of law and would not presume to challenge the authority of the Lord Greenmarch in matters temporal; however, I possess some meagre skill in issues of theology, and it is within this realm that I take issue with his proclamation.
It is critical, perhaps moreso now than ever, that the Faith understand its history and its Gods. I should be very happy to meet with either the Lord or Lady Greenmarch and discuss matters of the Gods, if either so will it.

I was lucky enough to hold the tiniest and most handsome Greenmarch today and have a lovely chat with his radiant, brilliant, and beautiful mother. Seeing how Lady Margret is able to do so much for our city as well as bless us with this newest addition to our population, I was inspired to ask her if she would allow me the honor of being her patron. I am sure I will get more out of this new arrangement than she is -- she was probably doing me a favor by saying yes, but I look forward to it, nonetheless.

Thank goodness she offered to help me plan Nia's birthday party. She's two. She loves swords. I can not in good faith have a joust or sparring match as part of the party. I have it on good authority that two year olds and swords are a terrible combination for a party.

I would be glad to lend my skills to your task. The purpose of the Commons Clinic (Say it again! Say it again!) has been to ensure all citizens of Arx have access to the same level of medical care as any other. Princess Katarina and I have been plotting an event the proceeds of which are geared towards a donation of food and necessities for those who live in the Lowers. I will happily funnel the proceeds of that event into this call to arms, Lady Margret. My priority has always been, to ensure our populace is as healthy as can be.

Colors still hurt, but yes, Lady Margret - we did. Very best of best friends if what my ladies are telling me is right.

Statistically speaking, I am only lucky about half of the time, my lady. However. I am looking to improve my personal odds. Also, probably, my medical skills. I sliced my thumb pretty good on some glass I was cutting for my optical observation instrument, and I realized that my stitches are pretty uneven. Shame on me.

I am so pleaded to hear that my cousin-in-law, Margret, will take the reins as a Voice of Greenmarch. She has been doing fantastic work in the Physician's Guild, and will help lead the Greenwood with distinction.
